Men's choice ends at sex, don't want a kid then don't have sex! Women make the final decision because it's their body, health, and life put at risk when growing and birthing a baby. The last choice the guy gets to make is whether he has sex or not. Condoms and other forms of birth control are not 100% effective, the only thing that is 100% effective is not having sex so you choose to have sex as a man, you choose to have a baby so you 100% aren't ready for a baby/don't want one then don't have sex. She gets to make the final choice because it's HER body put at risk.

ok so jimmy mariano is like the worst character ever, but we do need to be grateful to him for one thing (sigh, i know) and that is jess’ name. so jess mariano is an incredible name, right? it just sounds cool. jess having his dad’s last name at all makes little sense but it does sound better on him than danes. also his first name. we know based on later events in the series that liz’ taste in names is questionable at best so we can assume jimmy picked out jess. so i guess what i’m trying to say is thanks for your one contribution to society jimmy.

Another rant

Why does society look down on single mothers?

How can we have anything bad to say about the parent that stayed to raise the child or children, alone?

Why doesn't society blame the fathers who left?

It doesn't matter whether you could get along as a couple. It is a disgrace to shirk your responsibility as a parent.

Also using outdated and unscientific research to state that children of single mothers are prone to crime and degeneracy, is just a lazy and round about way of blaming single mothers for raising their children

Let's change the termilogy to lay any negativity at the feet of those who deserve it
