Trying out a new treadmill at the local Y. This one had programs and video tours through different cities/locations on it. So, #ran outside for 1.5 miles and couldn't feel my feet so I finished my run inside on the #deadmill. 4 miles today = done! :) #theELFruns

Monday 5/6/2013 workout

On a high from yesterday's run, I got right back on the deadmill on Monday night. My thighs were killing me, but my hip flexor was feeling pretty good. I finished my 3 mi pretty strong (for me) and beat yesterday's time by over 1:30. 

I used to only run when required for training for sports, most specifically, soccer. However, I haven't played competitive soccer in 10 years so I haven't run at all in 10 years. Now when I run I have a smile on my face. Seriously. I get such a joy from running for 30+ minutes that each night I finish my run, I just think about what I can do to beat my time tomorrow.
