Deadpool vs. Thanos #4: Deadpool and Thanos fight to save their lady love, Mistress Death! And surprise: she likes Deadpool better! Maybe it’s his sense of humor, or maybe it’s because Thanos doesn’t get that without some stuff being alive, Death has nothing to do. It’s all about the balance, friends. That’s what Deadpool learns when he temporarily gains the powers of Eternity. So now Thanos is banished until, I don’t know, Marvel wants to start promoting Infinity Wars Part 1 by having him come back and kill people. 

Howard the Duck #8-10: Howard, I love you, and I waited a long time to read the last few issues of this series because I was sad that it ended. And you’re in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2! Good for you, buddy. The Bev issue (#8) was a real treat, as was the appearance of Lea Thompson in #9--and can we talk about the fact that her real-life husband’s name is Howard? Sometimes reality is stranger than fiction. Now, I just need to read issue #11 and try not to be too sad. At least Joe Quinones is drawing America--I love his art, and I’m happy that Chip’s getting a chance to try his hand at Spider-Man. (Um. That sounded weird.)

Paper Girls #6-9: I love this series, but I waited for every issue of the second arc to be released so I could read them all at once. Now I just have #10 left, and I’m wondering where (and when) our heroes will end up next. Which Erin can the girls trust though? And what’s the deal with that sinister old guy?

Patsy Walker AKA Hellcat #11-12: It’s Hellcat vs. Black Cat in the grudge match that we’ve all been waiting for! At least, those of us who love cat-themed superheroes have been waiting for this...or, you know, I’d be just as happy if Felicia decided to not be a bad guy anymore and she and Patsy could hang out and have awesome friendship times. But, you know, it’s a comic, so it’s also fun to read about battles, and I’m glad that Ian’s decided to use his powers! Now Patsy and co. just have to save Attaché--she really did pick a cool superhero name...

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story #1: Ooh, the art on this is great, and I love seeing little moments that didn’t make it into the movie. If you love Rogue One, read the comic too--I can’t wait to see what “deleted scenes” (of a sort) that future issues will reveal.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #16: This issue of Squirrel Girl is fantastic and hilarious, and it includes the fight between a bear chef and a chicken that we’ve all been missing our whole lives. It also features a picture of me dressed as Squirrel Girl and a letter I wrote--no big deal, IT’S JUST A DREAM COME TRUE. MY ENTIRE LIFE: WORTH IT JUST FOR THIS???
