Ay, if anyone is interested in using deadwalkers [A shapeshifting subspecies of dead hand that i am at direct fault for the creation of] in their writing, especially fanfics for linked universe or something similar, i have some prompts for ya’ll.

1. Due to them being dead hands, and usually living in dark places like temples, they’re not used to affection or being touched in a way that doesn’t hurt them. And also not very used to sunlight.

2. They could have SEVERE mood swings, especially from murderous instinct when they get hungry.

3. Them being better hunters than normal humans, especially due to night vision {Or echolocation if your deadwalker might be one like the one extra dead hand exclusive to master mode in the shadow temple that’s triggered by the bomb flowers in it’s chamber. Or if they’re blind of course} and the ability to lay infinite hands as traps for prey

4. them being an insomniac, or just flat out nocturnal, and so they would often take night watch for the group {that last part is if you have one in an LU fic or something with multiple links in one group}

5. Shapeshifting. Deadwalkers are shapeshifters by nature, it would be hard to avoid this one. [the forms yours has other than dead hand form and disguised form is up to you, the disguised form doesn’t even need to be human, just as long as it counts as living its fair game, have fun with this one 😉] {Also, little optional part, you can have them shift parts of their body while still having the rest of it back in the current form. Like a person with the claws of a dead hand for example.}

6: they may not understand emotions of the living, and thus come off as cold and heartless to certain people. [This can be fixed later on as they get more accustomed to the outside world, or not.]

7: {if it is an lu/linked universe fic or something similar to linked universe} having them sent in to destroy the heroes from the inside by a villain [and optionally having them later on turn against said villain once they grow accustomed to the links and start to see them as family.]

If you have any more ideas, go ahead and use ‘em. I don’t write myself, i am merely an idea creator.

I have more ideas for deadwalker stuff. They have a higher pain tolerance and resistance than the normal living [which can cause them to get a *bit* reckless when in battle] but they pretend to be injured if they’re undercover so they don’t get found out.

Imagine an LUthing for this, where a new member of the chain, which just so happens to be a deadwalker, gets wounded in a battle, they’re fine, but they have to pretend to be injured.

Just a quick friendly reminder than dead hands and deadwalkers can have venom [in my headcannon of dead hands anyway.]

I imagine the venom would look like a strange purple liquid oozing from fangs on its upper jaw.
