Ngl I kinda want to read a fic where keith gets like. Deaged.

But not in the way that it's usually done; I don't want to see baby keith, or toddler keith, or small child keith before his life went to shit. I've seen a lot of those. I love them, but I've seen a lot.

I want to see a deaged fic where keith gets deaged to just before shiro found him. When he's felt lost and abandoned for years. At what is arguably his lowest point. Scrappy and rough and with a hard exterior that shiro has to break all over again. Convinced no one could love him, jumping at the slightest thing. Keith with no care for his life or other people, who doesn't think he matters. I want the paladins to see him like that, and acknowledge how far he's come, and how much his life has sucked.

Honestly I understand that deaged fics are supposed to be cute and the second chance most characters need. But like if you actually think about say the avengers childhoods. Like Natasha: oh she's a child now? Thinks she's in the red room. Bruce: only knows his abusive father. Clint: (depending on his age) either abusive parents. Or abusive brother/circus people (I haven't read the comics so I might be wrong about that. ) Thor: grew up in an abusive household. Even though he wasn't the target of the abuse. Has no idea where he is. Possibly doesn't speak the language Depending on when aseir learn/are gifted with all speak Tony: probably thinks he's been kidnapped and oh. Wait for it. Abusive father. Steve: (depending on the type of deaged fic) is now very sickly and has no idea where/when he is.

De-aged fics will be the death of me I swear...

Especially bb!Toews where Patrick has absolutely no idea what to do and Jonny is just a holy terror without him. Those are my fave.

Summary: Charles and Erik were testing Cerebro’s new prototype when things went very wrong.

My Opinion: It's cute as fuck. But Charles is deaged too, don't know if you want that!

 One Little Problem by Turtletotem

Summary: It's been months without a word since his sister and... whatever Erik was to him left Charles paralyzed on a beach. That doesn't mean he's going to let Erik rot in a CIA cell. He figures they'll find him, rescue him, and watch him walk away all over again.

But when they find Erik, there's one unexpected hitch. He's four years old.

Summary:Seven-year-old Erik needs to keep his telepathic best friend Charles from finding out that he wants to kiss him. But that's okay, because he has a plan - he'll put on a tinfoil hat.

My Opinion: This isn't technically de-aged, they're just little kids. So adorable.

Yo, all you people out there writing deaged!fics right now!

I'm not sure if you're doing this because you think its actually something that's okay to do or if you think Bruce is a moron and doesn't know about babies. If it's the second, ignore this but keep in mind Batman knows everything.

You should never, EVER, put an infant in bed with you! You may think you don't move in your sleep, but you don't know! You are, after all, asleep! You could roll over and squish the baby, or smother it!

You should never put baby anywhere to sleep with pillows and blankets! It sounds awful, but baby could turn the wrong way and suffocate! Instead, dress baby warmly. If they aren't going to be a baby long and you don't want to get them a crib, they are literally safer sleeping on the floor than in the bed with you!

If you are going to put baby on a bed (an UNOCCUPIED bed) strip it down to the bottom sheet and remove all the pillows. Do NOT line the sides of the bed with pillows to keep baby from rolling off! Put bed rails on the bed, or, if you want to purchase those either, push the bed against the wall and push a dresser, or other tall piece of furniture flush against the other side. Baby is not going to hit it hard enough to hurt itself, trust me.

Large amounts of pillows and blankets are often found in the beds of babies that die from SIDS, if you want the character to make it through this second infancy ALIVE, these are the kind of things you've got to think about.
