So we went back over to the house this afternoon. Husband had talked to his mom earlier in the day and she had said they cleared out everything they were taking. So we arrived with cautious optimism...

...to find that there is still stuff everywhere. Two beds and frames, at least 4 dressers, 8+ nightstands/end tables, multiple desks including an old police desk that weighs a literal ton, and just so much random crap everywhere. Like decades of paperwork and mementos.

And just 2.5 weeks until we have to be out of our apartment 🫠

I’ll let you in on my secret.

For every one that I post, I usually end up deleting three or four.

I post the one that makes me roll my eyes the most. Because I know my lovelies will be entertained by it as well. 

I screenshot them, because I block them. 

And when I’m ready to log out and go watch tv, I turn off anon, this way they have to find something else to do with their time.

I was just reading this thing that said that for... people who are habitual, manipulative liars, what is TRUE matters so so much less than what SUITS them. If what is true matters at all, or if they even necessarily think of their lies in terms of "believing" or "not believing" that they're really true -- if it suits them, if it benefits them at the time, then that's it. "Benefits me/does not benefit me" is the dichotomy there, rather than "true/untrue". Whatever suits them becomes their reality in whatever moment they find it most beneficial to decide that
