They know they're being followed. They know it and they find it more funny than anything else. Anomaly makes no point of showing that they know, this silly game of cat and mouse doesn't need to end before it even really begins, after all.
Going to and fro in seemingly random directions, ducking down alleys here and there, but never once changing their pace or glancing over their shoulder. They keep casual and confident, like they know exactly where they're going and what they're doing. In reality, they're just making a big loop back to the hotel. They'd wanted some time to be alone, hence the walk, but this was more entertaining than being alone with their own thoughts.
"hey!" So entranced they were in who they knew was following them, they're caught off guard by the voice snapping at them from the other side of the street. They don't even realize they're the one being addressed, and keep walking, hands in pockets, barely sparing a glance at the person yelling until they realize that the sinner is coming over to them.
"oh hey." They look the sinner over, a tall, bat-like creature, who they seem to recognize. "sal. yeah. okay... can't imagine what you'd want from me now."
The sinner's beady eyes narrow at Anomaly, "your freak kidnapped me! and stole at least-- some of my organs!"
A shrug from Anomaly, "you broke our deal. and the consequences of breaking it lay on you, dude. i don't know what to tell you other than you should just be happy he didn't take all of them. like you said he is a freak."
Anomaly rolls their shoulders back, ready to continue talking, or just leave-- they don't see much point in the conversation anyway-- when Sal's hand darts out and grabs them by their braid, yanking them backwards just enough to get the space to dig his claws into their stomach and rake them down through their skin and into the organs beneath.
"oh, you bitch," Anomaly hisses as it happens, only a second too late in wrapping their wires around the offending's throat and yanking him back and away. One arm wraps around their middle, trying to hold in both blood and shredded organs, the other grabs hold of the building closest to them as they shuffle into a side street and collapse down a few feet into it, hunched over and breathing hard.
