Write a letter to London ❤️
In bad news:
Did not win the Letters Live competition entitled Dear London.
In good news:
Accusation of one's then boyfriend now husband (one of the most honest and rule-abiding people alive) fiddling his expenses for the large extremely well-known corporation he still works at by about £2 so I could have a cheaper glass of wine while skint in 2013 not published in The Times with my full name on it.
May have got into the crazed "just overdone it" ME/CFS hyper brainspace and pressed send bit too early.
Could've caused genuine scandal and death of career.
So there is that.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Also I might have missed the part where it was supposed to be a love letter. Mine sort of was...
Anyway, something else to put on Ao3, why not?

I'm in Hell,
But I'll stay.
An indignant letter
Dear London,
(Though not quite so ‘dear’ at the moment) Do you call this spring? I think we have very different concepts of what ‘spring’ ought to mean, unless you are deliberately joking. I’m sure you got it wrong, by mistake, and I understand it may be confusing to manage all the seasons, especially with 9 million people complaining about different things all the time. But how hard can it be to get it right? Yesterday it was nice, after the failed solar eclipse and all, but sunny and kind of warm (seriously, that’s all I’m asking for...). So, what the hell happened today? You can’t give us hope and then take it away, BAZINGA, just like that. Get rid of the fog and the clouds will you, and the cold. Especially the cold. Yes it’s ok if it rains every now and then, but this cold? Winter has decided to linger, is that what you’re saying? Why would you let him get away with it? It’s time he moved south. Now pull yourself together and please put an end to this madness. We londoners will deeply appreciate it. Thank you.
(Cold) Regards,
M.
