I admire you, Amy-

I can’t pretend. I have lost patience. This season of travesty has brought out the worst in me. I’m now a hypocrite. I wanted to be a tolerant, open minded person. I wanted to believe, and live by the principle that this country was built for such growth. I wanted to learn more about the opposing p.o.v.

I know everything is relative. All I’ve seen… Well I believe it really started around January 20, 1980, but this election has functioned to legitimize bile. Real hate. I can’t be okay with that. This is not the country I thought it was.

I’m only stating facts as I see them. I wish I had your faith, optimism, patience. I’m simply discouraged.
