I’m thinking about it.  I mean we’re all here to have fun, but a little authenticity never hurt anyone, and I’ll be doing the legwork for it, since I’m going to be digging into this stuff for my own research anyway.

I’ve got a resources page, too, that I forgot to link on my navigation again, which has been vetted by yours truly (alas, if only I could link to stuff on JSTOR and in academic archives, as well), but a vocab list would be a nice thing to do, I think.  Because the resources cover things more in the realm of material culture and...

I need to stop moving and get stable, to be honest, so I can more actively knock out my other debt. It looks like I’m moving in January again. It should be a good move, one that cuts my rent and my commute, so I can’t be upset about that! But it’s the 6th time I’ll have moved in 7 years and it’s such a pain.

Oh, I like to sing!  I, I guess I shouldn’t be vain and pretend that I’m any good at it but I like it.  Um, back where I’m from, when I was young, I used to walk all around the swamp singing, mostly just traditional songs, that sort of thing, and I guess...I guess the folks who live a few hours up northways (not our folk, outsider folk) must’ve seen me once ‘cause they started telling stories of a spooky ghost girl in white singing about death.  It was kind of funny.  I started pretending to be a ghost girl on purpose except I stopped because I didn’t want to rouse the attention of the uneasy dead.

...Auntie June doesn’t want me to go to bars because she says that ladies and gentlemen shouldn’t drink alcohol (my aunt is very old-fashioned because I think she’s 80), but one time I went to the Third Rail and I didn’t drink alcohol.  But there was a beautiful woman singing with the prettiest dress I think I’ve ever seen ever and she was so, so good.

♠  I’m such a basic binch this time of year, it’s embarrassing.  You can’t leave me unsupervised around things that are pumpkin or pumpkin spice flavored, because i’ll put them in my face.  It’s a real problem, okay, I’ve had so many pumpkin spice lattes the past couple of weeks that it’s shameful.

On the flip side, Fahrenheit might find him amusing and harmless enough to keep around. Like a pet.

From his perspective, she’s intimidating, but pretty cool in general. He’s definitely interested in her (both as a ‘challenge’ of sorts and as an actual person) and would put in the effort to get to know her, should she allow that.I could see them being ‘friends’ in a sense, though maybe not real close or anything like that.
