Tauriel was intrigued by the siren called Ixto.
She could hear his voice from afar, singing a soft lament of lost love. It was beautiful and as she listened on it touched her very soul. She followed the sound, and found him sitting in a little roofed in garden.
The smell of exotic plants that where in full bloom hit here and she breathed in deeply, her eyes fluttering closed and a soft smile forming upon her features.
When he stopped, she allowed herself to advance toward him. “I do have to say that you have a very beautiful voice. It is truly a joy to listen to it.” She said softly as she sat next to him. The elleth hesitated for a moment before leaning in, and placed a gentle kiss upon his cheek. Her cheeks burned and the heat spread to the very tips of her delicately pointed ears, when she realised what she had done.
“Please forgive my forwardness.”
It was good to finally begin to release some tension with a proper session of singing. Though he was sure that the elves wouldn’t mind him singing, he had preferred to do some of his practices and warm ups alone while he worked on improving his range. When Tauriel came closer, he’d drawn back on the power in his voice and started to work toward finishing his song.
When he finished, he opened his eyes to cast his gaze toward his friend with a bright smile of his own. He bowed his head in both greeting and thanks for the compliment.
“I have been out of shape for too long, so I figured that I was long overdue for some practice. I’m quite glad that you enjoyed it--” Ixto paused, feeling the warm lips upon his cheek. His eyes lit up as he looked at Tauriel, pleased to have had that kind of contact.
“Please don’t apologize dear! I don’t mind. Not at all. I’m not too picky about my personal space. You’re welcome to invade it any time you like.”
