Oldschool death metal since 2023. “What Never Died” is the second studio album by the Russian old-school death metal band Deathwind, which was officially released on March 19, 2026. The album builds on the band’s “old-school” sound, which is inspired by groups such as Bolt Thrower, Sacrilege, and Candlemass. The lineup features vocalist Elina, known for her brutal vocals, accompanied by musicians from other bands in the Moscow underground scene.
