Juliette and the Licks - “Got Love To Kill” (2nd 7" of a 2 7" set) Ok here it comes. My one and only “I know a guy in a famous band” story: I’ve known one of the guitarists in Juliette and the Licks since middle school… boom! Big reveal! I know all of you reading this are in complete awe… Anyway, we have little contact now except through Facebook birthday wishes. Last time I saw him was when Juliette and the Licks played Debaser Medis in 2006. We partied with the band at this place called Kvarnen after a fantastically high-energy show. Sounds fun right? Well it was, but it was also a Monday night and us mortals had to go to work the next morning. In fact, I had the early shift and, yes, it was truly godawful after getting only 2 hours of sleep. But I survived! This is the type of stuff you tell your grandchildren right?
