Ok please tell me how on earth did Jean and Connor end up together. Help me see the chemistry
Well, we have a few aus and stories of Jonnor, but here's the first one we made: The Fourth Bar!
As seen in D:BH, Connor mentions that he found Lt. Anderson at the fifth bar before he found him. So we were like: holy shit. What if Connor met Jean at one of the other ones?
So basically the fourth bar is an underground bar called 'Jamrock', which is run by Jean Vicquemare and Harry Dubois. Jean is a human who runs this bar for income, and Harry is an android, who forgot he's an android due to attempted suicide by making himself malfunction. He was reset by Rose, who didn't inform him that he's a deviant machine, and he got a job with Jean. You'll find out why this is important in a sec.
When looking for Lieutenant Anderson, Connor stops by the Jamrock Bar. He scans everybody's faces, but has no avail in finding Anderson. Connor decides to ask the bartender - Jean - if he has any information. Jean mentions that Hank comes by every so often, but he's probably at some other random bar. The two talk for a while, and Connor eventually notices something. Somebody.
Harry doing Karaoke. He scans him, and finds out he's an Android model. Holy damn! A fucking deviant, right infront of him! But Connor knows that his pain priority is a potentially dangerous and homicidal deviant, and that is his main priority. He makes a mental note to investigate later. After, Jean pops a question:
"So, are you gonna leave or not? Can androids even drink, why would one be in a fucking bar?"
Connor looks to him and he's internally like 'does this bitch not know he's working with an android? He looks clueless??' and so he's like well I have to come back later, right?
And so this SMUG ASS MAN decides to prop against the table and goes. "Androids don't have the ability of consumption, no. However, I was wondering if maybe you and I could do what people call... a 'raincheck'?" And then he does this weird ass wink
And Jean is like. What. What the fuck is a robot flirting with me? And when he points it out Connor is just like OH NEVERMIND THANKS FOR THE INFO and fucking runs to Jimmy's. Cue that case. Connor later reports Harry to Hank and the DPD, which opens a case. They later bust the fuck into Jamrock again. And it goes like:
Jean: ?? The FUCK is happening, why the fuck are you shutting down my goddamn bar!?
Connor: Sir, are you aware that your coworker over there is a deviant?
And so they take Harry in and they you know use him as deviancy evidence, and they find out that you know Harry lost his memory and that's why he has no recollection of being an Android yadda yadda yadda. Jean is kinda forced to work alongside Connor and Hank for evidence purposes and ofc you know so he proves that he was clueless. And that's how Connor and Jean meet in that au yippee!! This was just it in a rushed form there's more info but we'll prolly make a post about that later
