The Critical Role Feedback Can Play In Better Defense Acquisitions
Proposing to the government is a costly proposition, and government program managers need to provide value to each and every person that participates. This is true for the smallest procurement to the largest platform acquisition.

Gowdy: Corrupt FBI gave TWO different types of briefings to candidates Clinton and Trump
Gowdy: Corrupt FBI gave TWO different types of briefings to candidates Clinton and Trump
By Jon Dougherty
By now, most reasonable Americans not only believe that the Obama administration spied on a rival presidential campaign during the 2016 cycle, they know that there were more than just a few people inside President Obama’s Justice Department, FBI, and U.S. Intelligence Community who were so corrupted by his politics they worked with the former president to subvert our democratic…

After-action report: SV-5413-52
Subject: Unexplained anomaly, henceforth referred to as "the anomaly."
Location: [Redacted], Republic of Ireland.
Debriefing: Agents Caro and Bell were dispatched to [Redacted] following the detection of High Energy Disturbances (HEDs) and local reports of anomalies including, but not limited to, disembodied kinetic activity, disembodied vocalisations, disappearances of small children and animals (with a prevalence of cats and children between the ages of three (3) and seven (7) years old). The agents proceeded to investigate the village, eventually triangulating the origin point of the HEDs with the help of a local psychic (psychic is now under surveillance. Agents Caro and Bell are not to be made aware of this fact, having promised that the psychic would not be harmed in thanks for their help).
Upon reaching the point of origin, a small grove in a forest [redacted] miles out of town, the agents discovered a tree of the genus Salix. The tree was apparently covered in carvings of a Celtic style, which Agent Caro reported to have pulsed with pale blue light and caused him to feel "like it was watching [him]." Agent Bell did not perceive the light, but did experience the feeling of being observed, as well as a mild but persistent urge to touch the tree. Both agents unholstered their firearms. Agent Caro scores a 53 on the Lovecraft Psychic Receptivity/Resistance scale, while Agent Bell scores a 30 (see Addendum 1). Agent Bell, an ordained Catholic priest, recited a standard litany commanding the tree to reveal its true nature (see Addendum 2). Agent Bell observed no change, but Agent Caro exclaimed that the tree had transformed into a female figure shrouded in mist. After a few moments of prayer, Agent Bell also perceived the figure. However, while Agent Caro perceived the figure as tall and skeletally thin, Agent Bell reported that it appeared to be a highly attractive female in her mid-teens with two scars on her neck and a bruise on one temple (see Addendum 3).
The anomaly proceeded to "glide" (descriptor used independently by both agents) towards Agent Bell. The previous urge to touch the tree now intensified, but Agent Bell had sufficient fortitude to resist the suggestion. Agent Caro proceeded to insult the anomaly and the surrounding forest, in an attempt to attract its attention. When it started to move towards him instead, he shouted that "it's covered in blood, Will [Agent Bell]!" Agent Caro insists that it had a large slashing wound on its neck, another wound, also on the neck, more consistent with garotting, and a large dent to the same temple Agent Bell described as merely bruised. At this point Agent Caro felt justified in assuming hostile intent, given the anomaly's apparent behaviour and appearance as an SV-V type being (Addendum 4). This was then corroborated by the discovery of a human child's skull by Agent Bell, who by this point was overcome with a feeling of intense fear and was rooted to the spot. Agent Bell did however manage to inform Agent Caro of the discovery, at which point Agent Caro informed the anomaly that it was in violation of the Treaty of London-Bridge, and shot the anomaly with three Null Energy Alloy (NEA) rounds. The anomaly then experienced expected spiritual departure, and both agents called in a cleanup team to sterilise the grove. Amnesiatics were administered to the village experiencing the problems, with the exception of the psychic.
Addendum 1: The Lovecraft Psychic Receptivity/Resistance Scale is a sliding scale where a score of one (1) indicates complete psychic receptivity (generally accompanied by active psychic abilities of one's own), and a score of one hundred (100) indicates a complete lack of psychic receptivity (commonly found in psychopaths). All department personnel, with the exception of Augur Unit agents, must have a score of at least twenty eight (28) - any lower, and the agent becomes dangerously susceptible to psychic suggestion and memetic effects. A score of fifty (50), with a plus or minus range of five (5) is considered optimal: personnel with this score and sufficient field skills should be regarded as highly useful assets and placed on a promotion fast-track.
Addendum 2: As of yet, the department has yet to discern whether religious incantations and artefacts actually have any power over non-sentient beings, or if they simply provoke a reaction.
Addendum 3: These markings, along with Agent Caro's description, seem to describe a victim of the threefold death, a kind of ritual sacrifice performed by some sects of druids in the Iron Ages.
Addendum 4: SV-V type being; an angry spirit of a violent nature, considered to be non-sentient or of extremely low sentience, evidenced by repetitive behaviour and poor problem-solving abilities.
