‘Caves End’

Famous Harry, Non-Famous Louis, Country Life AU

Louis travelled to Australia with his great aunt Mabel when he was ten to live in Molong, a small county town in western New South Wales. After Mabel passed away when Louis was 14 he was adopted by her best friend Penny and her husband Bill who owned a rambling farmstead, Caves End, fifteen minutes outside of town. Over the years, Louis gradually takes over more of the responsibilities for running the farm and the horse riding trails they operate for the tourists. He grows the business and adds farm-stay accommodation for foster kids and their families during the holidays.

As Louis and Liam, Louis’ right hand man, prepare for a busy summer holiday season, their friend Robbo offers up two friends from the UK to help out for two months. He won’t tell them anything about the two strangers, but assures them that they’ll understand when they get there and Louis is more than happy to accept the offer of two, fit, twenty-something blokes, free of charge.

When the two strangers jump out of Robbo’s truck, Louis immediately recognises the tall, curly headed man, with the soft smile and kind green eyes as Harry Styles, ex-captain of the English football team.

Louis is shocked and confused as to why Harry has come to Caves End, but as they get to know each other, Louis learns more about Harry and in the process, himself too. Could Caves End weave its magic and be exactly what they need to overcome their fears and find the love they both desperately crave?

Cue country hospitality, horses, bonfires, beers, and riding of all kinds.

I found this fic in my google docs from a couple of years ago and fell back in love with the story. I’m finishing the first chapter at the moment and am so excited to share it. It’s such a wonderful story, filled with hope and love and all the goodness in the world.
