December One-Shot Contest!
I’ve had a few people message me and say that they’re very interested in participating in the one-shot contest I mentioned, so... here are the details!
The Prompts:
1. ‘Creative ways for your OTP to stay warm’ (psst... shameless snuggling!)
2. ‘Character A really hates snow but Character B is determined to change their mind’
Pick which prompt you like the most, and write away! You can use both if you’d like. Right now I’m only planning for there to be one winner, but depending on how many people participate, I may choose a winner for each prompt.
How To Enter:
Entering is simple. Publish your one-shot, mention this contest somewhere in your author’s note, and then send me the link! If you publish it here on Tumblr then tag me.
The Prize:
I’m still planning for the prize to be a commission from an artist (prepaid by me). I’ve talked to a few different artists but I’m going to look a little longer, so if you’re a Warrior Cats artist and would like to be involved, let me know!
The Deadline:
Undecided at the moment, and will depend on participation. Christmas Eve is one option, but if the deadline needs to be extended, then New Year’s Eve.
Above all, I want this contest to be fun! I’ll be posting my own one-shots to FFN and Ao3 when I get the time and I’ll share those here as well. If you have any questions or concerns then shoot me an ask and I’ll answer them!

Happy belated Thanksgiving!
This has been a wild year and it's made me step back and really consider what's important to me, and I surprised myself when I realized how much I appreciate this fandom; these cats have been apart of my life since I was in middle school. I've been writing for the fandom for nearly a decade. So as Christmas and the new year approaches, I want to be able to spread some cheer and give back!
I have a few ideas that I'm contemplating, but I want to hear your opinions on what I already have:
- Throughout the entire month of December, I want to give one page a new shout out every day!
- I want to host a one-shot contest! I would give out a prompt, and if you wanted to participate, you would post your one-shot and tag me. I would pick a winner after a few weeks, and the winner would receive some sort of prize! I'm thinking of a pre-paid artist commission?
- To involve the entire community, maybe an art contest as well? Same gist as the one-shot competition; there would be a prompt and a prize.
- I've mentioned a few ideas here before, so I'm going to compile them together and let everyone vote on which one I'm finally going to write and publish!
- I'm would like to do some sort of trade? Either with a fellow writer or an artist!
