EXPERIMENT IN TERROR - Dex Foray/Perry Palomino series
This series, by Karina Halle, has had its ups and downs. Let's admit it. It went downhill when Dex became all mushy, lost his edge. The first four novels were suspenseful, terrifying. It had everything going for it: horror, unrequited love...
I have been thinking about a movie adaptation of the series for a while now, and it is just recently that I have read that ABC is planning to adapt it into a tv series. I'm not sure about the tv format, so the following casting is for a movie(or tv, since all big actors are now in tv series, when you think about it).
DECLAN PIERRE "DEX" O'SHEA FORAY
We need someone not too famous, pretty but not perfect looking, seductive, funny, with a great acting range.
DOMINIC COOPER. He has the right age (early 30s), physique (not too tall, sultry brown eyes...), and acting range. In the past, he has played witty sarcastic, witty characters very well, and has been in horror movies (such as the very underrated Dracula Untold). We also need someone with European roots.

PERRY PALOMINO
We need to see the age difference between her and the actor playing Dex. We also need someone who is able to play a sensitive woman, but with an edge, beautiful, with shape, Italian roots and bright blue eyes.
ALEXANDRA DADDARIO. She fits the physical description astonishingly well, and has the perfect age. Also, her acting chops have been increasing, and has recently shown talent and versatility (in "True Dectective", for example).
