It's been a minute since I've done a wip Wednesday but @clotpolesonly has inspired me 🧎‍♀️

It's not like Declan had never fucked his way out of sticky situations before. Sticky seemed like a callous choice of words, but accurate nonetheless. Declan was used to sticky; peeling away parts of himself like used fly paper, losing bits and pieces over the years until someone he barely recognized remained. And it's not like Declan had never fucked anyone less than attractive. Middle-aged men who begged to be his daddy, women whose faces had been lifted and tuckeed and pulled. In fact, if he had to compare, Joseph Kavinsky was one of the more appealing people to wager sexual favors from him. Appealing in the physical sense at least. He wasn't so bad to look at, but the second he opened his mouth Declan remembered why he hated the boy so much.

"Deklo," Kavinsky greeted him with outspread arms. Bathed in the glow of a distant bonfire, he looked more ghoulish than usual. His cheekbones sunken, the whites of his eyes nonexistent. Even his skin seemed to disappear, leaving nothing but dry bones— worn out bowling pins Declan could knock down with a single well aimed blow. His too-straight, too-white teeth would crack deliciously against Declan's knuckles. But Declan wasn't here for a fight. He was here to make a deal and, as satisfying as it would be to lay Kavinsky out, he had a feeling he was the one who was going to end up on his back by the end of the night.
