Hey Jordan ^^ I don't know if anyone has asked before, but... In CS, what would be the key differences if James had survived instead of Lily?
Hello my darling! God, I think someone did ask but it was like…years ago??? It rings a faint bell 😅
*five minutes of intense searching later*
I managed to find it! I believe I said James would have become super over-protective of Harry, to the point of smothering. Harry, as a result of James’ constant attention and over-compensating for the lack of mother figure, would be a lot softer than Hadrian ended up being.
I'm a little broken and a little blue because i just found your Team Uzumaki AU and let me tell you, my heart was broken into so many little pieces I don't even know. This idea is so painful and dragging and absolutely genius, I will thank you with tears in my eyes.
this means a lot to me darling, I’m glad you enjoy the AU and that it managed to impact you like this

I really hope you like it! Happy holidays!
Okay but students that weren't part of the Summer Camp vs the ones that were. How they react to Harry, to how he acts and what he says, how they completely trust him no matter the insanity that comes out of his mouth. Students that weren't part of summer camp are bewildered and freaked out. Once random Ravenclaw student laughs at something Harry mentioned would happen and a summer camp student starts blubbering and crying in wet anger because how dare they question Professor Harry
Oh, it's an immediately obvious divide for sure! School starts back up and there's this strange cohesion between the campers. House lines no longer matter. Status and money are no longer barriers.
These kids are just...friends. Without shame or expectations. And it's fricking weird.
Especially how fiercely loyal they are to Professor Potter, who every not-camper had thought was a bit of a joke despite his scarily accurate predictions. More than one fight has broken out between campers and not-campers, and Harry is both touched at their loyalty and mildly confused because all he did was give them fun activities to do and listened if they wanted to talk??
(He slowly realises that that's more positive attention than most of those kids have gotten because the war has touched everything and most of their parents have shadows in their eyes and struggle when they do go home)
Simply here to say that i finally read what you have of ruination and I'm once again falling in love with your writing. Happens with every new story of yours i devour.
Something interesting that I noticed with Lucerys was whenever he mentioned "The language of his mother" and so, as if he doesn't quiet consider himself a Targaryen. I know they grew up with the rumours and the kids worked to be seen as proper, to not put burden on Rhae because of this, but here it shows that even through that, even as hard as they worked to be proper royal kids, he still doesn't consider himself worthy of. Perhaps it has to do with the high pedestal he sees his mother on and not wanting to compare himself to her, but it's curious.
Oh oh!! I’m so happy you gave it a shot and that you liked it!!! You’re so sweet my love 💕💕🥰🥰🥰
And Lucerys absolutely has insecurity and some low-grade identity issues, poor lad. Having those whispers dog his every step for years and years and years really got under his skin and internalised into a general sense of unworthiness.
His near-worship of his mother definitely doesn’t help. He can’t help but run that constant comparison in his head - and always finds himself lacking.
But don’t worry, Daemon’ll help break him out of that mindset by being like “holy fuck kid you claimed not one but two dragons - that’s never happened before and that just makes you twice the Targaryen the rest of us are hell yes let’s go burn down the Greens”
Because Daemon is ecstatic at Lucerys breaking all accepted rules of only having one dragon. He’s positively vibrating with glee, going “my stepson is The Best, he’s so awesome the gods gave him a second dragon, look at him go”
And for Lucerys, having someone like Daemon Targaryen say that you’re the most Targaryen to ever Targaryen really means something 😂
So you're telling me that Tom would definitely see European Celery as someone that's dangerous and ruined him while European Celery is just here admiring all the work he did with Tom? A whole-
"I hate you"
"Hate me? Please, without me you would have been nothing."
You're picking up the exact vibes there, darling.
European Celery would look at Tom in the way an artist might look upon their favourite piece; or the way an arsonist might watch the flames they set, curious and buzzing with eagerness to see what comes next.
Meanwhile Tom would hate and love European Celery in equal measure. There'd be admiration and anger and a desperate need for approval tangled with a longing to escape.
It would, as you say, very much be a "I hate you" vs "Please, boy. I made you" situation.
Which is a great dynamic!
I was in my finals what the fuck is this about another Lucemond AU? Jordan, do you breathe? (I'm definitely intrigued of course)
I just can't help myself, darling. Someone shows me something shiny and I go all in 😂
