Can I request a headcanon about how Dee from metal family acts like when he has a crush? I love your writing so much

HC's with how Dee acts when he has a crush-

See i wanna give him the benefit of the doubt and say "He accepts it & plots what he's going to do!!"

I'm going to be honest, his first action is denial.

deny deny deny. he's just going to pretend its not there! ... mentally at least

but physically, is a whole other thing. He tenses up around you, blushes, stutters, looses train of thought .. etc.

see hes telling himself , "crush? nah. nah its js.. allergies." and physically here he goes . "so- uh. er. yeah!" and then walks away swiftly. is basically RUNNING.

mf folds so quickly 😭. give him a good 2-3 convos and then he finally accepts that its a crush

now that he's accepted it, it depends on who you are to him!

for example, if you're someone who he shares a class with, expect him to just "so... do you understand this?" in order to try and get to know you! whether it's you 'helping' (we all know he understands everything that's going on. overachiever here.) him, or him helping you!

But if you're someone he's already friends with, he'll just find easier ways to connect with you! que the, "have you heard ____ new song?" or maybe for the book lovers , " i saw (book you've already read) & it seems interesting, can you tell me what its about?" , and for the creative ones "oh i saw they opened up a ___ shop down the road, wanna check it out?" and the possibilities are endless!!

as time goes on, it depends on personal preference how you get together, 9/10 you'll get impatient and have to take charge because bros gonna keep 2nd guessing every other day. But if you dont mind waiting its a huge ego boost that you waited just for him :)

all in all, its an amusing process and eventually turns out the way you want it so !!

Random thing I might not be totally accurate about but before his hair was completely slicked back but on day he just randomly started allowing that stray hair to get in his face. Liv has that dangly hair thing as well. So what if he started doing it to mimic her out of admiration?

Also Dee shows some signs of autism, for example it was said by heavy that when things don’t go to plan for Dee he gets incredibly frustrated. Also it seems he doesn’t know how to handle emotions that well.

Forgot to mention that I heard that autistic people are known to mirror others behaviors so that would also explain the strangely strand that he shares with Liv

Metal Family: Dee Headcanons

HC 1: Okay, I have to say this but, Dee’s got squishy cheeks. THE squishiest, and he hates it cause Glam likes to squish his cheeks when he’s being too edgy and it totally ruins the vibe and shit, so he’ll just get all huffy and walk away, cheeks puffed and everything and Glam finds that fucking hilarious.

HC 2: Yeah sure, it’s canonical that this boy sucks at everything love related, but then I’m like “He’s probably weak as fuck when someone kisses him.” and now we have this. He WILL buffer if his love interest gives him even the smallest kiss on like, his brow or something. He’ll just sit there, and process it for a whole minute cause what the fuck was that??? And then he’ll blush immensely and then completely leave the room. Mans just can’t take a tiny kiss to save his life-

HC 3: He craves touch. That’s it, that’s hc-nah just kidding XD. He does crave touch, but it’s not like he’s touch-starved or anything. It’s more like, he simply enjoys the feeling of someone giving him friendly touch, like a pat on the back, or a fist bump, any kind of physical contact he secretly enjoys, cause it just feels really nice to him.

HC 4: I wanna say when he’s in his last year of highschool, he’ll get a tattoo. Not anything too big and it’s pretty easy to hide, but it’s a nice hibiscus flower, pretty colors and all. I say it’s probably on his hip, since it’s not often he wears anything too revealing.

HC 5: This leads into my next hc, Dee likes flower language. He finds it clever and enjoyable that one can use such pretty flowers to create a nice message, dark message, a threat, or anything really. Flowers just mask the darker things, in his opinion. And he loves being able to tell a person a subtle ‘fuck you’ in flower, so he studied that shit quite a lot-

HC 6: Okay, hear me out here but...Dee’s flexible. VERY. Flexible. He just looks like that kinda guy who could drop into a split without absolutely torturing himself and all the boys are terrified of him for that. He can split, backbend, fold in on himself, and pretty much a whole variety of other things.

HC 7: Because of his flexibility, he actually finds a lot of weird positions comfortable. Breakin’ his body in half so his upper body is on the bed and lower body on the wall? Peak comfortability. Twisting himself really awkwardly and just sitting there? Fuckin’ nice-

HC 8: Okay, okay, one more, but bare with me here because I’m treading on canon territory as well as some fuckin’ bulls I made a while ago-

Dee, in the og au, I want to say is just a mess of bisexual. He’s all cool and collected on the outside, but Lord knows what goes on in his head when he sees a pretty girl or a handsome boy, all the red alerts go off in his head. He may not have a good grasp of love, but he’s had many, MANY internal bi panics thank you very much uwu (We see you and Lif, ya little son of a bitch-)

Okay, so, kinda nervous bout this one cause it involves an au where I made ocs for it, so if ya don’t wanna read this part, just keep scrollin’ cause this is the last of it XD.

Dee, in the au I created, is Bisexual and Polyamorous. He’s with two peeps, Lif and a foreign oc I made, his name’s Eden UnU. Literally, he’s with a hot girl and hot boy, he has even admitted to Heavy that he could never answer the question of ‘which one is hotter’ if someone were to ask him. A one time thing. Heavy never let him live it down-

So dark sides and all that

I feel like there are two ways my idea can go.

Either there is one dark side who is the anti to both logan and patton. (This is based on the color theory.) This dark side is irattional and tempermental. We'll call him impulse for the time being.

But if you really wanna know the kind of things he does, his behavior and his role, lets talk about my other theory.

Dark!Logan and Dark!Patton.

Say that both Logic and Morality turned into dark sides.

Theres already this wonderfull fanart of Logan as Wrath and its a commonly accepted theory.

But then what would that make patton?

Well, he is morality, but also emotions. So what happens when you get too emotional about immorality? When the injustice around you makes you mad? When you are wronged what else would you seek

If not

Vengeance?

If Wrath is loud and demanding and ready to fight, then Vengeance is quiet and patient and calm, observing and plotting. Wrath is fire and explosions, Vengeance is a cold breeze slowly taking over the entire room and making chills run through your spine.

So what do you get when you mix fire and ice together like that?

A shock to your system, like lighting.

Electricity.

Thats exactly what impulse brings to the table. His desicions are fast and demanding, and he hits unexpectedly, stealing your attention and ignoring him is pretty hard.

And much like actual lightning and electricity, he's quite dangerous.

Anyway thats just my idea.

New Dee Headcanon: As Dee grows she's going to need a new collar for outgrowing her old one, and she's going to be very sad to find she doesn't get to wear it anymore, and is going to insist on carrying it around anyway. Eventually, when she is relocated back to Arcadia, she's not going to be wearing a collar at all, but if you were to search her nesting place, you would still find it right by where she sleeps. While dragons don't usually horde like lore says, they still form attachments to things, and her collar will always remain sentimental to her.
