More Dee Headcanons for you guys, (I’m on a roll)
- Tenor singer to the core, a lot of his final song would revolve around mourning his own identity, and the one he never got to flesh out. Definitely fast paced, it feels as though he almost can’t get a breath in. Mostly to bring the anticipation of the crash. I keep having a thought involving those fun house mirrors during his song, trying to find one that looks like himself while the rest are heavily distorted.
- Despite his demeanor, Dee might as well be one of the more impulsive ones of the group. He went on all the rides during the fall fair, knowing he’d get sick at the end of the day, definitely has given himself a few piercings, and buys anything relating to his special interests in a SECOND.
- He works at a coffee shop named “Rally’s Coffee” in town, as a barista. It’s run by one of the older residents of town, Rally himself. Dee absolutely hates it, please put him out of his misery. (Just means the group gets free drinks whenever they come in) but it’s a prime study spot for everyone after school.
- Gift giver, though he’s very quiet about it. He’ll slip a rock in his pocket if it reminds him of the people around him, than hand it to them with little to no explanation later. Between him and Penny, almost everyone has at least a few little keepsakes that would mean absolutely nothing if they hadn’t come from the two of them
- He has a cat at home, who he lovingly named Fiona, after his favorite artist, (Fiona Apple)
- She is his pride and joy. 100% would die for this cat. His mom takes care of Fiona after the accident but she’s so much more distant after. She still lives primarily in Dee’s room. - Music wise I think it heavily depends on the context, for reference, this man is grunge. No way around it. Between his heavy appreciation for MCR, Radiohead Green Day, and all things Kurt Cobain, he’s also a big fan of his mothers taste of music, so Fiona Apple, a pinch of ABBA, and The Smiths, his taste is pretty spread out. (Someone ask me make a playlist for him, please please please)
