My brain at night, after having a good day:
How do you deal with your deepest, darkest fears? Some people exorcise their demons by submitting them to Deep Dark Fears (@deep-dark-fears). Artist Fran Krause illustrates these nightmares, daymares, and bad thoughts into a collection of comics, and has been turning those collections of comics into books. Physical, tangible books! They’re full of never-before-seen fears like the excerpts above.
The Creeps: A Deep Dark Fears Collection is on sale September 26th, just in time to gift your best ghoulfriend a Halloween present. Like many things, you can buy it online.
um.
somehow, I'm afraid that when I zone out on the highway, I've entered a purgatory where I travel forever beyond my crash site with the other invisible people in their cars, faded like ghosts of disembodied prayers headed to the dim horizon.
I was on the deep-dark-fears blog and now I'm fucking creeped out as hell.
I'm so sorry I've had a bit to drink and it's late I can't stop laughing at the posts on deepdarkfears I'm sorry (Heeheehee) No but I am sorry
I used to hate having any stuffed toy in my room at night. Especially clowns. When cars used to go by our road their headlights would illuminate their dead eyes and I would imagine them staring back at me.
I would be afraid of shutting my eyes in case I missed them coming to life, even though I didn't want them to.
