King Noah got a small loan of a million testimonies from his father to start out. doesn’t matter that how he sold out all that testimony to build a fancy palace, imbibe wine, and commit whoredoms; he did that for the people, you know? someone had to and it showed real leadership, I think a lot of people feel this way, real leadership to do all that himself. and it helped the economy. lots of people are saying–I’m not saying this but many, lots of people are saying–that Abinadi is really the wicked one here, alright? and the mainstream media do they ever say “oh Abinadi, Abinadi needs to repent”? No, and they’ve been very unfair, they never talk about how much King Noah has contributed to the church here, he’s made huge contributions, paid for all the priests–the best priests, you know, the best, priests like you’ve never seen, everyone’s saying they’re the best priests–and the meeting houses too, made contributions and tithes in the most bigly way. But no one–no one talks about that, no one acknowledges. all the media wants to report is “wicked King Noah spent all the taxes importing pet jaguars from down south.” And did he? He did. But that’s not the point here, that’s not important.

Seven years ago tomorrow night I met one of my very best friends, @deetledeet. Another really close best friend (who I actually live with now) introduced us the night we went to the midnight premiere of the film that must not be named (The Last Airbender), but even after the disaster we watched, it was still as memorable as you get. After hearing about our 3 hour long calls we had once a month about the Japanese release of the newest chapters of Fullmetal Alchemist, Deet just had to know what it was we legitimately went insane over. That evening there was much talk from what I remember about the bassassery that is Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye, still two of my favorite characters in all of creation. This lady has stuck by me ever since and is one of the few individuals who is responsible for hijacking a post I made about Sherlock on facebook and turned it into Doctor Who before I had even watched it. I go back to it and my confusion about what was discussed is pretty hilarious. She is one of the few responsible for me being here today crying on a daily basis over the Doctor and River Song (the very first thing I EVER posted about them was reblogged from her, before I had seen any episodes with either of them, before I had seen any of the show still I believe, but it was a parody of another anime we loved, so even without context, which was the freaking goodbye kiss from Name of the Doctor, I reblogged it because it was hilarious, and I still go back to it and laugh).

I love you girl, and I’m so proud and happy to call you my friend.

I LOVE SARAH WALKER SO MUCH, I watched chuck the day it aired and I knew it was going to be amazing. I credit Yvonne strahovski for making me realize my high-school "girl crush" on her was a little more than idolation

That show was so good and I miss it so much. It took a bit of a nosedive in the last two seasons but I think they recovered enough in the finale. The first season of that show is fucking incredible and Yvonne...she’s just great.
