The Barrier Hero; BlueStar!

Okay so while I was looking for something to practice on to get me back in proper arting shape, when I recalled a while back when @deeum was nice enough to give me some advice regarding creative hesitance with character concepts and such.

This encounter also urged me to shoot for things that I’d otherwise worry about being unable to do, so, now I’m better than I was when I drew them a thank you comic, I decided to do a lil homage to their BNHA OC; Bluestar.

....and then I got halfway through and realised I accidentally kinda put her in the Vegeta pose, you know the one.

Okay so, to tell a very long story short, I’m working on, among other things, a Hero Academia comic with a different setting and characters to the show that I’m calling Heromage and the protag has shielding based around sunlight and I got super worried realising after I had all these idas that the protag was too similar to @deeum‘s character BlueStar.

However after an ask or two it turns out theyre more awesome than I thought and inspired me to keep going regardless and not to feel disheartened, so I felt like doin’ this rough doodle doodad comic.

Also because it amuses the heck out of me the idea of them facing off, so much protec.

Sometimes I remember I have a Tumblr.

My blood elf (Koyoshial) carrying Deeum’s goblin (Sarahtonim). Because being named Yoshi and having blue hair might give the impression that I’m a flying mount. :P

Plainclothes because I started doing the line art about an hour before yesterday’s raid (though the conversation that inspired it came from Tuesday’s raid) and the punchline was more important than replicating transmog. :P
