Micah Sirrioux; Shapeshifter Bard and student of the Magical School for Things That Exist.

A long time ago, I was in a D&D group which ran a campaign based around a school on the moon who took young people from al across time, space and dimensions to be trained and take on various missions.

It was a neat setup that allwoed for a lot of versatility in terms of characters, unfortunately, things happened and I ended up parting ways, but I still had a great deal of fun with the campaign.

I played a low-key character at the time, a human fighter and soldier; Rankin Pheil, he was often the butt of jokes for being the straight man in a group of fuckwits and wild-childs. I remember one character I enjoyed though, Micah was another low-key character but had some neat aspects to her, so I decided to knock this up for the player recently.

Sparking up Conversation

Hooboy, I realised I have not been posting here, this pic has been on twitter for a good few months now, expect more as time goes on (assuming anyone even uses this site anymore).

Vitreous Glassy does neat art and has such cool characters, like Veronica Voltz, who I adore the design of. I wanted to draw her, then thought; 'Huh, I have a lightning-armed OC, thats too good to pass up' So here they are, chatting about fashion~.

Chizui - Sushi Chef of Monolighter

Finally able to get to posting art, I realised I needed to practice more technology based themes, as its my weakpoint. This made me think of Gats, an artist whose work, expecially their tech and future themes are unique and inspiring to an artist at my level.

This is Chizui, from one of their projects, Monolighter. I really enjoyed her design and character so I just went for it and honestly, I think it came out pretty okay.

Leaping into action; Dust to Dust

I’m doing something of a fanart week this week, maybe longer, just to give some love to artists who have inspired me or just ones I think are dang neat. So first up is Kilinah!

This is the blue-bois protagonists of his comic; Dust to Dust, a murder-mystery type cop drama that I enjoy checking out. I’ve always been a fan of his smooth lines and curves along with his very clean and nice style.

Bust of Zen Skylar, Gunslinger of Nordic origins.

Just a little something for someone I consider to be like a daughter to me, shes made such strides in life and in art and I couldn’t be prouder of her. This is her D&D character from a game we were in some time ago, a Gemborn Gunslinger, she didn’t get much of a run since the game ended but shes still neat.

Character Concept; Yeri “Oreo”

Been a while but this character came from a dream I had last night, it worked out with Su, so getting this one down on paper and I like how she came out.

Her name wasnt known in the dream but after some thinking and asking around I went with Yeri, and someone suggested ‘Oreo’ which was adorable and fitting so its her nickname now.

If it wasnt obvious, this is another alien character, the only thing I can really equate her to is some kind of soft scorpion, she also likes hotdogs even though she cant eat them, she just likes the taste and texture.

Alpha-System, but you can call her Alphy-S. Was doing some practice sketches when a new friend of mine, Alphy, was having a rough day, so, figure I would put the sketching practice to good use. They’re an artist of the Surrealist school and as such they didnt really have a character I could properly personify, so I made one up. She definitely loved the design and I even wound up doing a discord display picture for her.

Machine-type works are a weakpoint of mine, so this was good practice, all in all I like how she came out.

Commission; Cornered by a Titan

Heres a commission from a friend of mine, Igor. This is their very unique character; Ultima, having cornered some poor unsuspecting person thats caught her eye.

This one was definitely a challenge, what with the almost alien features at play here along with the size scaling, glad the result was a good one.

Some Daystone fanart; Hedvika

If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly reccommend Vanrippers works. Daystone is such an expressive enjoyable set of animations and I was instantly enamoured with the titular characer of the second episode; Hedvika.

This is about when I started colouring my sketches because much as I wanted to line this picture, I’d already taken so long to finish it I wanted it done. After the events of the short, I had a sort of wandering ronin theme in my head for this piece.

Taken to colouring my sketches lately and I kinda like it, may do it more often if I feel things need a splash of life.

Anyways, this is Gwen, she popped up in a dream I had and her design was neat enough I kinda had to sketch her up, not sure what I’m gonna do with her yet though.

A Birthday present for a good friend of mine, akin to a daughter, Egg, (Who you should totally check out, plugplugplug) I felt like doing something on the painterly side of things with this and it came out decent.

D&D Doodles: Grunka

Last one is our Goblin Barbarian, Grunka! Meme maker and ‘Ye’ man of the party. Goblin of few words and surprisingly stealthy, Grunka is usually at the front line somehow not getting hit despite being the meat shield.

Continuing on with the memeage, we have Siren, the self-appointed sibling of Balthazar and Neeral. Shes a sassy bitch of a necromancer with a penchant for draining the life out of people, hence the ‘succ’.

D&D Doodles: Balthazar Al’Ruine

Now this one, this one fucking struck gold in the D&D group and has been memed since. Balthazar is our Hexblade Warlock/Paladin, with big dreams of power and prestige with a personality to match. So of course I had to doodle the charisma-boi in the Handsome manner and it was a masterpiece.

Of course the story doesent end here, AtlasArt, the player who plays Balthazar is also an artist, and he just expanded on this to enhance perfection.

D&D Doodles: Sao-Yuun Greymind

This one didnt come out as good but I still like it, our party’s Artificer Gunsmith, sniper elite and traditionalist at heart. Once in a while her tinkering goes awry (Black Powder is a bitch), but shes a very competant craftswoman.

D&D Doodles: Neeral the Umbralscale

This here is the first of many doodles centred around the characters in my Sunday D&D game, hosted by the skilled and creative Janner3D.

This doodlepage started just as a silly thing but well, the others enjoyed it so much they requested the whole cast and having nothing better to do during my trip, I was happy to oblige.

The first of the batch is Neeral, a Kobold Sorcerer, shes young, impulsing and prone to getting into trouble.
