Lieutenant Deitra Part 1

Deitra was portrayed by actress Sheila Wills. She was mentioned in the script of Lost Planet of the Gods, as a shuttle pilot from the Battlestar Atlantia, that survived the Cylon surprise attack. This showed that she was already in the Colonial military at the time of Lost Planet of the Gods. She was one of the shuttle pilots who was retrained to be a Viper pilot, when the male pilots became sick.

Deitra was one of the most capable trainees, when she was left in command of Blue squadron, when Apollo attempted to attack the Cylon listening post and Starbuck went after a Cylon raider returning from patrol. Deitra ignored Apollo’s orders to return the squadron to the Galactica and took them into battle against the Cylon raiders that launched from the listening post destroying two and saving Apollo’s life.

Jayley’s shoulders shrugged up as the snowball exploded against the back of her head, sending ears standing on end and fur bristling. She let out an animalistic snort, shivering as melting snow slithered it’s way down her neck. God damnit.She clapped a hand to the back of her head, whirling around to catch sight of the one armed magus who had thrown the snowball. Cheeky little shit. Jayley rumbled lowly, squinting a jeweled eye at her before flicking her gaze to the snowman near by. “This is wars.”She snatched the head off of the snow man before simply overhead chucking it at the shorter woman, carrot and top hat included. It’s the start of a great battle that Jayley was destined to lose when up against a finger waggler that could quite literally summon as much snow as she needed.
