Some things I'm doing as a new worshiper of Morpheus
So I've been practicing worshiping Morpheus for about a week now! I'm new to the worship of gods, I've been pagan for about 6 years now but have only dabbled in the worship of gods in that time. And when I did it was Irish and Scottish gods.
I've been working on things I can incorporate into my life to feel closer and build a relationship with Morpheus on a day to day basis!
- Wearing jewelry I associate with him
I currently have a clear quartz necklace that I've had for ever but never used regularly. It was always hanging above my bed and so when I started to work with Morpheus and looked for things around me I could use, I thought this would be good as I already associate it with dreams. It has been there for years as well. Years of being associated with my dreams and already is very familiar with my energy. The perfect fit!
I also have a kandi bracelet I made a while back that says 'Midnight'. Its blue, purple and black with stars. It reminded me of him.
I sleep in both of these and only take them off to shower. Means they are always on! (i always forget to put on jewelry)
This was something I was lowkey doing every night or every time I showered anyway. I just now make a point to do it and to do it as an aspect of my worship.
According to @bibliophilicwitch's post here, she says that Morpheus rules over dreams, lucid dreaming as well as meditation and I agree with this association and think it works really well (I will make a post about my associations of Morpheus soon!)
Meditation for me is more than just a clear mind. I call it meditation for lack of a better word, but if I were to have to try to describe it, its somewhere between meditation, vivid daydreaming or shifting. If people are interested in what I mean by this, I may make a post about it!
I've set up my altar for Morpheus! I'm planning on posting a image of it soon >:3
I'm really happy with how it came out. Cause I've been pagan for so long, I literally already had everything I used laying around.

- Reading Greek Myths and about Hellenism Practices
Coming into this, I knew very little about Greek mythology and hellenism as a whole. I recently picked up "The Greek Myths" by Robin Waterfield and Kathryn Waterfield as a way to help me get an overview of greek myths and the Gods. It's basically a rewriting of Greeks myths to make them easier to read and I've been really enjoying it! Because Morpheus has such a small role in Greek Mythology, he is not in any of them nor did I expect him to be. Like I said, reading this is more for context and understanding. Depending on how far I'm wanting to take my research, I may read the Illiad or Ovid's metamorphoses (this has Morpheus (I have read the poem with him in it and picked up a copy)) but we will have to see.
I've also been looking for books specifically on Hellenism worship, which I have had a hard time finding physical copies (I checked my library, local book stores and local witchy stores, there was nothin :() but I have found some ebooks and also have been reading the tumblr tag a lot lmao.
- Listening to music I associate with him
Music is a massive part of my practice. I will often sing or play songs as offerings. Listening to music I associate with Gods helps me feel closer and connect with them.
I have a playlist tag on this blog if you want to see my playlists! (I'll probs be making a masterpost soon)
