Aphrodite; Prayer to protect your heart

Blessed Aphrodite,

Goddess of Love, born of seafoam and starlight,

I come to you with an open heart,

Wounded by longing, yet still beating with hope.

Let not false love find purchase in my spirit,

Nor cold hands hold what is meant to burn with warmth.

Teach me to love without losing myself,

To give with wisdom, to receive without fear.

Guard my heart from those who would break it in carelessness,

And guide me to those who cherish with truth and tenderness.

In moments of loneliness, be my comfort.

In the storm of emotion, be my calm.

Aphrodite, divine protector of the heart,

Hear my prayer and hold me close.

May your beauty surround me, and your strength dwell within me.

Praise to the wild-spirited, free, untamed & feral Artemis. Praise to the holy, sacred, heavenly Diana, light-bringer. The mountians sing your hymn. The forest ripens with the music of your arrows as they fly. The moon hums a divine lullaby in your voice. Praise to My Lady, eternal keeper of my heart.

God of war, battle, bloodlust, and courage;

Son of King Zeus and Queen Hera;

Father of the almighty Amazons;

He helps us through our battles,

Spurs us to keep going when hope is lost, but our rage is not.

A father, a guide, a teacher.

O, dreaded Ares, come to us now

For you bring us to the forefront of our glory.

Come to us and fuel the fire burning within us.

Great Lord Ares, we thank you.
