@impala-dreamer is sitting two feet from me and this post will come as a surprise to her. I've gotten inspired (and I'm somewhat jealous) by kids. I have decided to pick up my guitar and start writing again. My goal is to get the guys back together, maybe, and record (home record anyway). Hopefully my kids and my wonderfully talented wife will play too. But first I need to write. Now I'm posting this for two reasons. Reason #1 : If I put it out to the world hopefully I'll actually commit to this idea and Reason #2 : send me song titles. Can't promise I'll use it, but I'm looking for inspiration. If nothing else enjoy the song.

Once upon a time I rocked

Don't know why but I was driving home from the post office today with the radio off and I started singing this song. Hope you like it. Special guest on backing vocals, can you guess?

I always loved this song. We wrote this is a crappy practice studio in Jersey City, NJ. Will, the bass player, was just warming up, playng all over the neck. Mark, the guitar player, was messing with some chords. It was similar to something I was working on so I just started singing the lyrics. Everything came together pretty quick. The best part to me has to be the bass solo. To me it was very different and something you don’t normally hear. Hope you enjoy.
