honestly, a ton of slav underground music sounds like that! sonic death, ploho, molchat doma all have pretty similar vibes (sonic death in particular has that raw, barely mastered sound you hear in anger management!)

I understand your reason for disliking Trans Giovanni headcanons, but as a Trans person, I liked them because a lot of Trans men get belittled for not being "masculine enough", or get told they "aren't real men" just for liking anything traditionally "feminine"- sometimes, even by other Trans folks. I think anyone headcanoning Gio as Trans for the reasons you stated is fuckin bad, but can you at least see where people like me come from on it?

It sounds like you and I both want men to be allowed to be more feminine while still being recognized as men so I think we’re on the same page here.

Out of curiosity, do you and your pals behind the Buttons mod still plan on finishing it?? I mean, adding the future content you had planned on the mod page.

We are planning on it, yeah! We were going to dedicate our free time to the mod this year but around February we had to move out of our apartment. We got a house that requires work and we’re doing it all by ourselves so that pretty much eats up all of our free time right now.@cameronaugust has even less time than I do since he works full-time. But he did learn new things about modeling, texturing and weight-painting since!

The last thing we got stuck on was getting Buttons’ relationship affinity system to work. His dialogue is written, recorded and applied to the mod but his relationship level stages don’t get triggered for some reason. You can get him to like you but he won’t say anything about it. (Very in-character, thanks, Buttons!) I’m know next to nothing about that part of the project so I can’t even really help out. We’ve reached out to a couple of more experienced modders but haven’t gotten actual help yet.

While we’re here, I would like to ask everyone to please refrain from telling people on our Nexus page - or anywhere else for that matter - that we’ve abandoned the mod. We very much would like to finish it, especially after putting so much work into it. But real life comes first and it’s just the two of us.

I remember ages ago you talking abt how most of the WildCards have a romantic interest (though poor Nelson has no luck) and now I'm wondering how the other WildCards see Sam and Max's relationship... Do they assume the two are together? Are they too afraid to ask??

Well, they *are* together, definitely! It just kinda goes without saying, they’re never apart from each other.

But truthfully, things are a liiiiittle complicated. There’s some serious, dark stuff that they need to work through, but neither wants to do so when they can mutually ignore it instead. And from the outside, its hard to tell that anything is wrong, they behave like they always have.

EVERY Wildcard has some serious issues that they’ll need help with, and they’re no exception. It just takes a while to notice.
