Vanguard If Episode 6 AKA The Cast Gets Transported into a Go Nagai Manga
Ibuki with a high pitched voice is cursed
Ibuki is straight up savage 😂
Poor Kyou no one remembers him even in the reboot
So, basically the premise behind most of these distortions really seem to be tied to the lack of Vanguard. I believe that is the case with Aichi’s to.
Suiko looks so evil in this shot😂. She’s about to murder Ibuki for deleting her
That’s is true if you take the Aichi out of Vanguard that changes everything (just watch Legion Mate😂). Aichi caused a lot of events to happen in both series just for a few examples(though I’ll focus on the reboot): He got Misaki to play Vanguard. He is the one who was able to make Vanguard fun for Kai again. He made Kamui a better person through their friendship. He beat Ren. Etc. (I could go on especially if I included the original series)
This scene killed me😂
Ren is officially Tuxedo Mask now he even threw a harmless object to cut something.
I think in the next episode we’re finally going to learn a bit about what happened to Aichi. Just by looking at this picture he looks...miserable (maybe I’m reading a bit too into this). The big theme with a lot of these distortions is the lack of Vanguard. I have two theories for this the second one is the one I developed from this episode. For the first one it could possibly be as simple as Aichi never getting Blaster Blade. It was Blaster Blade that gave Aichi hope for the the future the hope that he could become a stronger person and his life could get better. Take that away and I’d shiver to think how he would end up without that hope. We saw what Aichi was like when he was deleted (briefly) he looked so lost, sad, purposeless, and...empty. Aichi said it himself (I don’t remember which episode) he feels that he is useless outside of Vanguard. And assumely in this altered timeline he doesn’t have that purpose. He looks as if he’s just drifting throughout life without a passion or a purpose. One detail of this picture I would like to point out is Aichi looking away. That really stuck out to me as unusual it seems most like something Kai would do. Kai was the way he was because of his sadness (over losing Ren). I can imagine Aichi without Vanguard feeling a similar if not worse sadness. Maybe, it just got to the point where Aichi couldn’t take it anymore and he snapped. We saw with Kyou that Jammers can use prexisting emotions to manipulate people. Maybe they gave him a purpose (being the villain) along with finally giving him a outlet for all his built up negative feelings over the years. He stopped forgiving everyone and is lashing out in anger (we saw it with Psyqualia Aichi in the original). My second theory is that maybe Aichi was deleted but is stuck. It’s mostly because this episode and the entire series is really focusing on the idea of Ibuki’s sins. Maybe in this distorted timeline he was successful in his endeavor to delete end everyone? As we see with most of the delete end victims they lose their memories related to Vanguard then the whole speal I went into before applies. At first I thought I was completely being controlled but maybe (part of him at least) is doing this willingly (while being manipulated by the Jammers). I thought of this mostly because of Ibuki’s line about Aichi’s forgiveness. Or I’m reading too much into this picture and that line but that’s the vibe I’m getting.
