Crock Pot Red Roast is a flavorful twist on traditional roast night, with tender beef cooked slowly in a savory broth infused with red wine, herbs, and aromatics.
Ingredients: 3 lbs beef chuck roast. 1 cup beef broth. 1/2 cup red wine. 1 onion, sliced. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons tomato paste. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 teaspoon dried rosemary. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: On all sides, season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper. Boil some water and add it to a bowl. Then add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Onions and garlic that have been minced should be put at the bottom of the slow cooker. The chuck roast of beef should be put on top of the onions and garlic. Put the broth mix on top of the roast. For 8 hours, or until the beef is soft, cover and cook on low heat. After the roast is done, take it out of the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, cut it into pieces. Put the roast slices on a plate with the cooked onions and garlic. Pour some of the slow cooker juices on top of the roast.
