31. Shun evil (Κακίας απέχου)
Stay away from those who are morally corrupt, or who have ill-intentions.
32. Be impartial (Κοινος γίνου)
Strive to be the neutral, impartial party.
33. Guard what is yours (Ιδια φύλαττε)
Guard and maintain your property, affairs, and interests.
34. Shun what belongs to others (Αλλοτρίων απέχου)
Hold yourself back from other people’s things.
35. Listen to everyone (Ακουε πάντα)
Be open to listen to everyone. Listen wholly and with intention.
36. Be (religiously) silent (Ευφημος ισθι)
In religious settings be only fair-sounding, speak in a way that is conducive to success.
37. Do a favor for a friend (Φίλω χαρίζου)
Be kind and agreeable to those who are important in your life.
38. Nothing to excess (Μηδεν άγαν)
Strive for balance in all aspects of life, do not take more than you need.
39. Use time sparingly (Χρόνου φείδου)
Time is the one thing we can never get back, don’t waste it.
40. Foresee the future (Όρα το μέλλον)
Plan ahead. Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.
