small lore ramblings under the cut

i literally thought of this at like 12am last night and its SO unpolished but im rolling with it anyways

so basically friend drops the delta note in the middle of home town (but im thinking of making it a city instead) and kris and susie find it

im not exactly sure what happens when kris gets the death note, maybe SOUL starts cursing them to kill people so they can be safe or something

in case it wasnt clear kris isnt possessed by SOUL in this which means dess is fine and all the other dark world stuff doesnt really happen (which means no ralsei for now

susie definitely knows something is wrong with the book but when she tries to take it she becomes owner number 2 and gets cursed too maybe ?

noelle is basically gonna be L and dess is gonna be Near but not exactly like them if that makes sense

theyre gonna act as the main investigators into the delta murders (name is a WIP) and i have SOOOO much planned for noelle and dess' dynamic with kris and susie (by planned i mean microwaving in my brain)

i was considering togore as L too bc it would be funny as fuck but he also has Ls vibes ykyk, but i decided against it bc i really wanted noelle to play a huge part in this

asgore is gonna be like saichiro ofc (chief of police and allat) and asriel is gonna be like matsuda where he has wrong genre syndrome but still tries to do the right thing

birdley is kinda gonna be like mello or aizawa where hes working with noelle and dess and at some point he gets impatient with the progress and gets frustrated and flies solo to solve it himself

friend is gonna be ryuk and gaster is gonna be rem and im SO excited to design them

im writing all this half asleep and i only know like 20% of the deltarune lore so if someone has cool ideas or anything PLEASE let me know
