spammy being mike would also make sense why spam uses the word [mike] in brackets -- hes quoting tenna. he can say names (he says kris' name w/o brackets) normal -- but hes repeating tenna's line when he says "are you getting this [mike]" and why he gets mournful when he accidentally remembers what he used to be. they're taking me to the loony bin in 5 minutes

I had NOT considered the fact he uses only bracket text when referring to Mike and might be borrowing Tenna's voice there!! But! Now that you say it it makes sense!!! Of course it would be bracketed! Because he's not referring to someone outside himself and his memories of what he used to be! Thank you!!!!

Do you think Papyrus is Sans's younger brother in Undertale like in Deltarune? Like, I know that in the Japanese version Papyrus uses "niichan" ("big brother") to refer to Sans and I also know that according to Clyde Mandelin in Legends of Localization Book 3: UNDERTALE, rather than make a blind guess, the translator consulted with Toby for details, since there is no world for "brother" in general in Japanese. But Clayde said that he was like a documentary narrator in that book and cannot speak for Toby but he also said that Toby himself requested phrasing changes many times in that book and that he counted on Toby and others to minimize any factual inaccuracies and potential misinterpretations. So, I honestly don't know what to believe. Like, we can treat the fact that Papyrus calling Sans "big brother" in the Japanese translation as canon? We can use what was written in Legends of Localization to say that Sans is the older brother and Papyrus is the younger brother is canon?

I think the simplest answer to this question is to see which version of "brother" sans use in the Japanese localization of Deltarune. Apparently Toby was more involved in Deltarune's localization as he actually started to "properly" study Japanese according to himself.

Incidentally, this year I’ve been taking the time to properly study Japanese, so I was actually able to have a direct hand in the Japanese translation.

I'd guess it was the same as in Undertale though (referring to the "brother" that's likely Papyrus as little brother.) To lazy to figure it out myself as I don't know Japanese. However, I haven't heard anyone say, "wait sans says older brother in Japanese so in Deltarune he's not talking about Papyrus," so I'm just going to assume every instance of "brother" from sans is localized as younger brother in Japanese.

My favorite chapter hands down is three. Like, almost everything about it felt like it was made FOR ME. It's so fun and whimsical (with some dark stuff backstage) and it was the most engaging for me. That and Tenna quickly became such a comfort character for me. Each chapter has something in it that makes it special, but I've replayed Chp 3 maybe... Five times now? Haha 😅

Four would probably be the second, followed by two and then one. That's where they currently stand.

So, I've had a thought. The prophecy is talking about a 'prince from the dark', but Ralsei still is sorta sus. But who else is a 'prince from the dark', aka a prince from a dark world? You're right, it's Lancer. So, what if Ralsei will turn against us and Lancer will take his place alongside the party?

DAMN! That would be one helluva twist! The only question would be what would Ralsei's REAL objective be here? Maybe he's secretly trying to destroy the dark worlds? I mean he seemed to be pretty against starting the rumbling.

If this does end up happening, I hope he comes back to our side, but if he doesn't, having him as one of, if not THE final boss could be a cool callback to Asriel Dreemurr boss fight at the end of the last game.

Just give me some general K_K headcanons

K_K sounds fairly monotone and usually has a mellow/calm smile on, even doing mundane things

Pretty openly physically affectionate. Among the trio, they initiate hugs or just slip their hands together often. For others it’s casually being close to them, dropping an arm over someone’s shoulder, etc. long arms great for hugging the homies

Big sweet tooth in general, but sour candy is their favorite (particularly lemon drops). can tolerate stuff that would annihilate the average monster

Their spine and limbs are stretchy. if u pick em up out of nowhere they extend like long cat

Sometimes they forget they’ve left in a CD so if someone pats them on the back it’ll either a) eject into said someone’s face or b) start playing

Can be forgetful sometimes, and occasionally forgets to change their batteries/charge. it’s a days-long transition of being mellow to slowing down to confusion to eventually sitting down somewhere and going “guess I’m tired, I’ll take a nap.” smash cut to Sweet and Cap’n hauling their unconscious body back to some batteries. batteries need to be changed every few weeks and usually someone reminds them or they realize, so it doesn’t happen often

Sleeps in the Worst positions. They’ve fallen asleep standing up before and because they’re an extremely heavy sleeper they didn’t hear Cap’n have a heart attack walking in on that. They tangle themselves into a pretzel when in bed. at least they hardly have a spine to get back problems with

Sometimes they cave and eat the stock. both Cap’n and Sweet are aware of this but neither say anything about it

Post-chapter 2, they end up good friends with Seam. They’re both softspoken, go-with-the-flow sort of people. Some days they just chill with Seam, content watching them crochet or sew
