yeah ffxiv canon says azem, hytholodaeus, and emet-selch were 4ever besties but im going to pretend the latter 2 are unreliable narrators and thought they were azem's besties when in reality azem was drifting away from them and saw them as friendly coworkers at best by elpis.

Thats why her name is Juniper isnt it.

That is infact why her name is Junie. Yes, it’s the universe. Yes, it’s cosmic. 

But it comes down to Theo thinking that Juniper tea and juniper berries were going to help him. 

They did not save him. 

But Juniper in the end, she comes on the anniversary of the day he died. Junie heals a lot of wounds and pain. 

Demeter could not have survived losing her daughter, not after she lost him so so so many years ago. And she didn’t. She got her daughter and her grand daughter. 

So really, Juniper didn’t save Theo, but many years later Juniper saved the rest of their family.
