What are some ways of being alterhuman without identifying as nonhuman? Most of the definitions I've seen of non-otherkin/therian alterhumans still involve stuff like otherlinking or otherhearted, which still identify with creatures even if somebody isn't identifying as them.
Off the top of my head, the only other one I know of is plurality but I'll admit that I have mixed feelings on it being included in the definition
There's a multitude of ways, fictionkin are the most prominent we can think of. There are therians and otherkin who still identify as human along with their non-human identities, demihumans/demikin who partially still identify as humans. Plurality is one, even if debated on if it should be included or not it challenges the "average" human experience/is beyond that that is "traditionally human"; which is the definition of being alterhuman. Musickin, objectkin, plantkin, conceptkin, who still identify as human with their other identities. Shapeshifters who still identify as human on some level.
