WHAT IS PAVED IN ASHES ABOUT?

You're only 20 when suddenly your life goes bam! Throwing you into a whole new city, a different country even. Wasn't part of the plan, but you know how life loves to mess with plans. People happened, stuff happened, and suddenly you're on the move. The new chapter ahead? Buckle up, 'cause it's not gonna be all sunshine and rainbows. And guess what? Your step-mom? Yeah, she's right there in the same city. She's always had this knack for trying to steer your ship, like every decision's a GPS checkpoint. But hey, there's this one thing that's never let you down—your skateboard. It's like the buddy that's been with you through thick and thin, the one that never bails. Among all this craziness it's like your anchor. So, the big question is—can you break out of the loop you got in? Find your place in the world and restart or lose yourself in temptation? Time to find out.

What's going on in Chapter 1?

First full day...and night in Hamburg, Germany.

Have breakfast with your stepmother...if you feel like it.

Go shopping & check out the local skate shop.

Visit the "Hafengeburtstag" or go home early...

What else do you need to know?

You'll be able to meet up to 6 strangers, depending on your choices.

Use your time wisely, because you can't meet nor see everything on the way.

hello! i thought it'd be lovely to have a demo out before the end of 2025 and be a (quite late) christmas present and a (slightly early) new year's gift to you all :) the demo includes the prologue (~5.8k words, excl. code):

a glimpse of the end (?)

and childhood friends (meet sunny and vin, my babies!)

it is a bit short, but i think the prologue is very much replayable (i've gone bonkers with flavour text). please feel free to rant to me about any bugs i have missed or the plot or the characters! this if is very much a community project, and i love talking about it :)

it's finally time, ladies and gentlemen. not gonna lie, my heart is going absolutely insane with nerves. but!! it's time for it. ahhhh!

THE (TEENY TINY) DEMO FOR HUNGRY DOGS IS LIVE.

it's not long, (19.4k words w/o commands) but it needs to spread its wings, otherwise i might go insane lol. you still have some choices to make in the intro, but it's just that; an intro. no groundbreaking choices yet. it's more like exposition.

she's here! finally!! the demo is 25k words long, which entails the entire prologue as well as most character customization. you'll be pulled back into the field and meet almost all love interests as well as the director.

this demo includes explicit violence and a graphic panic attack (which you can skip) , so player discretion is advised.

In this demo you can (and will);

learn a little bit (just a little bit) of context behind your situation;

choose the gender of A. Bellefleur and T. Bellefleur;

decide whether your MC will (start out) bloodthirsty, indifferent, or guiltridden;

also decide whether you were hired for your military knowledge, your diplomacy, or your charm/etiquette;

sort of meet the King and Queen.

it is a relatively short prologue, i will admit, but i do hope you enjoy!
