@demonsandco demon form designs has been in my rent free for over a week.(These three in particular.) That and memories of a old comic I made years ago triggered a "monster lovers" phase within me. Maybe I should write a story...

My own HC is that most Demon Beasts can't die from old age, and can outlive Nightmare if they have a strong enough individual will. Hence why we see creatures that look like Nightmare's Demon Beasts throughout the games, and why MK is still alive despite being decently old. (The only way they can die is by being killed, or by particularly strong illnesses.)

Ever since I watched the first Knuckle Joe centric episode with @british-hero a while back, I wondered just how painful physically changing into a demon beast would be, and I ended up deciding to portray this in some screenshot redraws.

As strong as Knuckle Joe may be, he’s still a kid, and a kid would definitly cry if they were forced to grow spikes and lose their legs in an effort to destroy cute pink puffballs. It would certainly be a complete shock to the system.

Kirby Anime Headcanon!⭐️

You know how the Japanese and English dubs of the show call Nightmare's creations different things? In Hoshi no Kaabii they're called "Demon Beasts". But in Kirby: Right back at Ya! They have the much more simple title of monsters. I know this is because of censorship and all that jazz but it got my gears turning…

What if the more powerful and vicious monsters are titled Demon Beasts? For Example...

Masher,

And Kirisakin

However the next ones I'm about to show you are just monsters since they aren't as deadly. (Not that they aren't dangerous mind you!)
