Super Mario Tensei
Probably been asked before because it seems rather random (As far as I know), but why Barong + Rangda = Shiva?
This is a classic question that has a definitive (and official) answer!
Translation here.
Why does the fusion of Rangda and Barong result in Shiva?
Both gods originate from the island of Bali and since they are rivals, their personalities are polar opposites. Ranga is dark, Barong is light so obtaining Shiva (the god of destruction and creation) from their fusion is valid.

-sheepishly raises hand- No lie, I adore the demon fusion too. ^^''' No shame in self indulgence honey. If I can go and draw the BATIM cast as merpeople for the hell of it, then it is totally fine to fuse Henry and Bendy together with demon auras. The page is your canvas, paint what you like and someone else is bound to like it too.
Join the party, my friend! Self-indulgence is 110% of my motivation half the time, and in all honesty, it’s the only reason I started writing BatIM fics in the first place. I don’t know when or why it happened, but I came to the wonderful epiphany that hey, as long as I enjoy what I write, why shouldn’t I write it?
Life changing, right there. No joke, the realization that it doesn’t matter what other people think as long as I’m having fun is so freeing. Am I so incredibly grateful and happy to hear that other people are enjoying my antics? Of course! Feedback is the reason I post things, after all. If no one’s interested, I’ll just keep it to myself.
if the Qadistu had their own fusion recipes, what're the recipes for them going to be? I guess Naamah could be a Divine + Saraswati + Manananggal.
Honestly would not even begin to map that out. Hopefully nothing that plain though.
Demon fusion in this game looks rather grim. Disintegrated in a mad scientist type tube and fused...It reminds me of Stephen’s mention of teleporter technology. Also, this demon totally carried my arse in the boss fight.
You do understand that with the introduction of demon fusion, you've opened the floodgates, right? Dude, I love this concept so much, you think we'll ever see that in Inky Eyes, Golden Heart, or is there no real reason to do that? And be honest, would Bendy be excited about not being short for a brief amount of time?
You don’t see me complaining, friend.
Thank you! I’m glad you’re enjoying the AU!
So, uh, I guess this is a good time to ask if demon fusion is a Thing People Would Want To See in the IEGH AU? I’d be totally willing to find a way to work it in there, but only if people are actually interested in seeing it carry over. Because, friend, let me tell you, most of what I write is super self-indulgent, and the demon fusion was no exception.
Heck yeah, Bendy’s over the moon once they separate. Not only was he tall and his proportions were all different, but it felt really cool. There’s something to be said about the special connection between auras that would allow a fusion like that to work so seamlessly.
In fact, if my notes on this AU are to be believed (and they are, as I’m the Creator), then Bendy, Alice, and Boris are so excited about the demon fusion that they end up breaking through the studio’s weak floor from bouncing around so much, and when Henry pushes them out of the way of falling, he falls through instead.
Don’t worry, though. There’s a lot of ink to break his fall. In the cavernous room he’s now in, he can see the sign on the wall proclaiming the floor number. It’s strange. He wasn’t aware a Level 14 existed. And if he’s not mistaken, it sure sounds like someone’s sloshing towards him.
