a little Demon John (Demon Jack’s dad)! the Demon family of demons have innate portal magic or some other nonsense, so Demon demons can be summoned into the human realm against their will by a mage. Demon Jack and his sister both wear wards to stop themselves being summoned, but Demon John doesn’t.
which means basically, in this story, if any human ever tries to summon a demon, they are 100% going to summon a very pissed off dad and promptly get their ass beat for using such annoying magic lol. as inconvenient as it is to be summoned into the human realm (as he has no control over when or where it happens), Demon John is happy to torment the fools who could potentially hurt his kids!
