What gets me about stans of debate bruhs the most...
...is that none of them actually care about these things unless they think it's happening to one of their golden people. "ZOMG this guy did abuse apologia to XAnderhal!" I've got some bad news for you, Skippy; our whole culture is filled with ACTUAL abuse apologetics (for example, I'm not the only person who's been told I should forgive my parents and past toxic friends "for my own sake," and women having "daddy issues" are laughed at, at best, and fetishized at worst). Plus, it's kinda hard to feel sorry for a man who has labeled two separate trans people* "abusers" for basically not kissing up to his friends and attempted to, on a livestream, armchair diagnosed them with personality disorders based on the fact that they're both CSA survivors. But the Xanderhal fan club members with whom I've had the...pleasure of conversing with don't give a shit about that when I've brought it up.
Also, all this shit about how leftists who criticize Xanderhal, ad nauseum and aren't extra-special nice about it are somehow horrible people and other leftists are also horrible for consorting with them is laughable when you consider it's being said in defense of a man who defends the likes of Shoe0nHead, ChrisRayGun, and Hunter Avallone. And I don't give three iotas of a shit if you think those three have "changed"; when you built a platform on bigotry and cyberbullying, you don't make that go away with a "my bad" and a tweet or two about how you've totally learned your lesson. Those three have built platforms on antagonism toward Black and brown people, trans people, and fat people, being shitty toward the Queer Kid Stuff channel for no reason at all, and just generally being insufferable pills, yet in the eyes of Xan and his ilk, they all deserve a second chance. Meanwhile, leftists who have the gall to not be nice to debate bruhs and people who make excuses for them are all big bad meanies who need to be put in their place.

*One of those trans people was Ethel of Essence of Thought, and no matter what I think about her at the moment, she didn't deserve that. At all.
