Playing Cleo through the Demon Path has been very interesting so far in terms of Plot Stuff and Character Stuff etc, but my favorite moment so far has got to be this:

You know Soul Nomad is darker than I remember... but after I beat the game it got darker.

I like that the dialogue option that initiates the Demon Path has the same icon as any dialogue option that gives you a nonstandard Game Over in the regular path... so essentially the Demon Path is a nonstandard Game Over, just very dragged out.

Our previous hero just out here casually murdering the parents of a newborn child... I’m not sure what happened to that child afterwards honestly...it hasn’t been mentioned since.... and I killed everyone in the village. So their odds are not great....

Why? Well according to the main character... it was fun. One of their battle cries is literally “this better be fun” as they’re going off on a murderous rampage for no reason whatsoever. 

Soul Nomad and the World Eater’s Demon Path ladies and gentlemen...

(It normally gets unlocked after you complete the game normally, but you can unlock it early if you just get a nonstandard Game Over... the first possible option being if you accept Gig’s offer of more power while fighting Feinne... but bear in mind the level curve of the demon path is based on you having already defeated the level 40 final boss....)

Y'know part of the fun of this conciet that me and @lovelylivelyv came up with for WIR-Verse BATIM - of Bendy, Alice, and Boris being able to transform between their Toon and monster forms is just the visualization of what is going on behind scenes during games. It just kinda hits different when you realize Chapter 4 is mostly Alice, Boris, Tom, and Allison hanging out together in the haunted house waiting for Henry and trying not to laugh as Alice says her Twisted Alice scripted lines. Or while Henry's doing tasks in Ch 3 and Bendy's not chasing him, he's with Alice. Alice and Bendy making bets about which path the player will choose....just, things like that.

Demon path or Angel path?

Demon Path for sure. I have multiple reasons;

We get to hear Joey Drew's voice & his first Audio Log in game.

"It's a beautiful and positively silly tought"

I love how the path looks. Really, the Demon was in there and destroyed it so bad and you can see this.

A few of the items that Henry had to find to start the ritual (Plushie, İnk Bottle, Gear) are there too, a nice little touch!

İmagining Joey, recording the Audio Log while sitting on the chair is fun, makes me want to write a drabble lmao

Joey's voice is like tearing up at the end wgen he says "positively silly though" and it really gets me all the time

One of the things that gets me about the ending to the Demon Path -- either ending -- is that moment right before the last battle. Revya’s allies are either dead or have escaped her, and the different conflicting factions of the land have united against her. Her best friend is dead, and it’s something that actually still seems to matter to her, at least for a moment. On the other hand, her last ally is the Reaper Gig, who has come to truly care about her, and she’s already considering the actions she’ll take should she survive the final battle.

It’s very dark, and Revya, with you behind her, stands there alone and empty, a monster about to take on the entire world.
