Summary:

It’s about three weeks after the apocalypse when Lucy has finally had enough. 

Anne isn’t usually insistent like this. She usually prefers to be in her own room, a room decked out in pinks and reds and all the toys she could possibly want. A room they have designed and changed over the years to suit their changing tastes (which, admittedly, have not changed much). In the comfort of her own ability, Lucy will surround herself with as many bright colors as she can—even if other people might see it as a bit childish.

And when Anne wants something, she doesn’t say it. Anne doesn’t say much of anything, actually. Instead, it’s almost like a tugging, an instinctive understanding that Lucy has to assume is a result of their connection, that grows stronger the longer Lucy waits to act on it.
