Hexe sat behind her desk, taking care of a small stack of paperwork that had collected. So much field-work lately, so little time to take care of this. Well, now that she had the time, she would do it. So there she was, diligently at work with the nib of her pen to the paper.

However, just as she was about halfway through with her stack, she felt the table tremble a bit. At first she just thought it was a small earthquake, or maybe something she had done, but then she heard the shouts of people outside. The woman shifted up her glasses, and left the room to investigate.

"What is going on out here?" she demanded in an authoritative voice.
