Fear
Oh boy the alpha kids are on Earth C I can't wait to see them figure out how to adapt and positively change themselves in the future, so much was taken from them during the game I'm so excited to see ho-
I know being angry and upset is a part of processing and dealing with trauma but I had the ridiculous thought, just for an instant, that maybe the reason I've been so angry and hurt lately is because I'm suffering from demonic attachment. I didn't expect my brain to jump to the idea that there's demons since I certainly don't believe in them anymore. Whack.
I’ve been sucked so far down the Merlin fandom I can no longer see straight. I am IN LOVE. The fics in this fandom are something else. Next freaking level! I really want to finish The Color of Love. I really do. But I’ve just not been able to stop reading Merthur fics. Uuuugh!!
I just came across Loaded March. 1.2 million words—so popular it has its own fandom. I CANNOT read this fic before finishing my own.
I now have incentive to finish my wtfock/shadowhunters crossover. Robbe and Sander are going to Paris! There will be tourist-ing and lots of demons. I. Am. Going. To. Do. This.
P.S. Lucas VDH might also be in Paris... just sayin’
“Demons. You got us demons. Some of them were ON FIRE. You’re the best Adaar!” - Shokrakar
Presenting the Valo-Kas mercinaries, Shokrakar is in the middle and Asajj is to the left. On the right is Ashaad Two.
If you’re still doing the readings, may I ask for a reading with the Daemon Tarot, please?
Hi, there! Like I could pass up a chance to favor you with sacrilegious imagery and blasphemous advice! :D
You have been cursed with Bael, who, you don’t need to be a demon person to know, is one of hell’s head honchos. Bael is a pretty multi-purpose demon — he’s probably descended from the god Baal, who gets prayed to by some disobedient Israelites in the Old Testament at one point, and in other places is actually synonymous with Satan / Beelzebub. So, he’s not just any demon, he’s, like, the demon. He has three heads — a cat, a king (with a “hoarse voice,” lol, how oddly specific), and a frog. And apparently he has terrifying furry arachnid legs! Great.
So, having said all that, it’s quite anticlimactic to reveal to you that the divinatory meaning that’s been assigned to this card is a huge disappointment.
Fixating on the fact that Bael seems to have lots of power but hasn’t gotten to actually do all that much in terms of hellfire and damnation (ALMOST! LIKE! A CERTAIN! SOMEONE! @earlgreytea68 !!!), the writer of this deck has given Bael the mediocre assignation of: names aren’t always what they seem; be aware of status symbols, and avoid getting taken in by someone who seems to have high status/power/authority but who may not be worth your respect.
And, I mean, that’s fine as a divinatory reading, I guess, but this is Bael, he has A CAT MIND AND A FROG-VOICE AND SPIDER LEGS. I think you’re supposed to read this card as, like:
TERRIFY EVERYONE WHO COMES NEAR YOU WITH YOUR INCREDIBLY QUICK WIT AND INABILITY TO EASILY BE KILLED, YOUR INTIMIDATING CRAWLY LEGS, YOUR POWER AND AUTHORITY, AND YOUR ABILITY TO CROAK HORRIFYINGLY AT THEM NON-STOP UNTIL THEY BEND TO YOUR WILL.
yes i think that’s much better. good luck!
