Hi Can I Ask Uzui, Giyuu and Rengoku in Love with a Single Father S/o who has a Child

Ofc! And sorry I took a large break I've honestly been playing alot of videogames lol

Genre: Fluff/Scenario/Headcannons

Summary: How he reacts when you have a child, How he treats them, How he is with you being a single father

- Man is lowkey surprised because when you would suddenly disappear multiple time when you’re in his home and his wives said you had some business you needed to do he really thought you didn’t really want to spend time with him! The only time he really did find out was when you brought your kid to his house!

- Would honestly spoil your kid! And the kid honestly likes Tengen because his looks are honestly pleasing to look at! There may really be a few times he gets pissed off with them but learning from his own past family circumstances he gives them proper life lessons and verbal communication of what they should and shouldn’t do! His punishments toward your child are non-existent. It’s all through communication.

As you watch Tengen with your child, you can help but be amazed of how he’s teaching your child. “That wasn’t very nice of you to purposely do that.” Says Tengen as he’s sitting down with your child, looking at the broken vase. “Was there a reason you did that?” “I wanted your attention since you were busy with Da-da but lost balance...I’m sorry.” As your child plays with their hands, feeling guilty, they’re soon embraced in a hug by Tengen. “I’m glad you apologized but please be more careful, you might hurt yourself.” “O-okay Papa!”

-Man honestly is the same person but more kid friendly near your child. He really doesn’t change at all! He wants to make out with you but your child is watching? Cover that boy’s eyes, easy. He seriously has little to no filter when he’s with you- The only thing that may change is his bed because he often would sleep with you and his wives on a already big bed but with your slightly clingy child, HE NEEDS A DAMN WIDE WIDE BED!

-Giyuu is flabbergasted. Never expected it. He was just too busy about you and really didn’t care if you suddenly went away! Giyuu loves you alot to not care if you were gone for a bit but to realize you had a kid made him VERY NERVOUS.

-He doesn’t know anything about taking care of kids. Man honestly blankly stares at your kids and does the same. And your kid is easily influenced and surprisingly easily won over him! Honestly tries to buy everything he thinks a child would like based off what any vendor would claim! However one time he had a misunderstanding with a toy of a “different” use and honestly ALMOST showed it to your kid (however quickly stopped him ‘:)). 

Giyuu gives your child a bunch of toys as he’s sat down with them. As he grabs one of them, being a duck, he starts making duck sounds however with just his normal voice and no proper voice-tone impression. Surprisingly with your child doing the same but with a train. “Quack. Quack” “Choo choo.” “Quack.” “Choo choo.” What has gotten into them..?

-Giyuu will do EVERYTHING he would want to do with you in private! He wants to kiss you? In private. Holding hands? In private! Of course he won’t decline you doing it in front of your child however will make sure he isn’t looking! He’ll purposely point something out to your child, making them look away before you kiss him! AND HE’LL DO ALL THIS BECAUSE HE THINKS ITS INAPPROPRIATE FOR THE CHILD!

- Rengoku is honestly ecstatic! Rengoku is already good with kids but for his fiance to have one makes him happy to raise your child with you! He is one of the best hashira for taking care of kids and you CANNOT convince me otherwise! 

-He’s very gentle and smiley with your child! Will commit to anything that your child asks him to do and will to it with the best of his ability! If your child wants something HE’LL HAVE IT THE SAME DAY THEY ASKED! ESPECIALLY IF THEY LIKE FOOD LIKE HIM! If your child has the same hair color, eyebrows, or similar personality like him HE WILL MELT. Will honestly be weak at the knees because he cares so much and loves your child because it’s yours!

“Let me pour some tea into your cup Papa!” As your child emptyly pours imaginary tea into his cup he smiles warmly at them. “Thank you starlight.” “Let us have a toast, to us!” “To us!” As you all say together you “drink” your tea and Rengoku doing so aswell however ecstatically. “Delicious!”

-He’ll still kiss and hold hands with your child watching however of course with more serious things like making-out he will most definitely prefer doing in private! He’ll also choose to have a big bed for you and your child! He doesn’t want them to feel left out and have any achievement they’ve made to be underlooked!

hi love~ i can’t remember if i resubmitted the rui request but I’ll do it again! i would really like a scenario of a human reader running into rui again, (they were best friends when he was human). what his reaction would be, whether he would add her into the family or make her his lover, whether he would turn her into a demon, etc! maybe a little bit of what their relationship would be like (fluffy) 🥺💞🥰 ty! sorry if i resubmitted alr I just wanted to b sure 🥺🥰

you didn’t know how you ended up here. your lungs were dying and you were pretty sure your legs had fallen off miles back. looking around all you could see were trees for miles. 

fuck. where were you? all you could remember was running, running and running and running from something. something not human that was for sure. 

“oh whats this.” a voice drawled behind you, “i know you’ll be fun to eat, the look of despair it going to make you so much more delicious.”

your muscles tensed, oh god this was the end wasn’t it. you were going to die alone in the middle of a forest and no one would even know. your lips were trembling now, and you could feel a familiar ache in your jaw. footsteps pattered behind you, and spoke; this time the voice seemed softer, almost familiar.

“im surprised she was able to last this long, you’re getting slow brother.”

and then it clicked.

“rui-chan im back!” you announced, yanking the door to his room open. he scowled rolling away from you. 

“go away.” he grumbled, “i dont want you here.”

ignoring his words you took a seat next to his laying body. gently, you pushed a piece of his dark hair out of his face. “rui-chans so pretty!” you thought to yourself, “although it would be a bit nicer if he stopped frowning so much.”

rui narrowed his eyes, “ i know you’re talking about me in your head.”

blushing, turned away. “no i wasn’t.”

“definitely were.”

“ i was thinking about how i brought some of my moms mochi but since my best friend is being too stubborn i guess i wont sh-”

immediately rui shot up, his eyes searching for the mochi box.

“well don’t be rude.”

he extended his arm, his eyes flickering between his hand and you.

“you should say please.”

“fine. please.”

“please what.”

he groaned. “stop being difficult.”

hiding a grin you tilted your head back. “i just have manners.”

“fine. may i please have some mochi please.”

you beamed. 

“of course! all you had to do was ask!”

your friend rolled his eyes and dipped his hand in the box you had pulled out of your kimono.

“you’re absolutely impossible you know that. i don’t even know why i bother.”

you laughed, your eyes squinting into crescents, “its cause you looooove me rui-channie.”

if you had even bothered to open your eyes a second sooner you would’ve seen the healthy red flush across his face. 

and then a hand was on your shoulder, turning you around. the figure in front of you pulled a face.

“huh? open your eyes? i wanna see your face.”

you shook your head, not saying a word. there was no way it was rui no way. he was dead. his mom and his dad were both dead, and they never found his body he had to be--

you screamed, something was around your neck oh god you were going ot be strangled to death.

“if you don’t open your eyes i’ll make your death much more painful than it has to be.” rui, no, the voice said flatly. you squeezed your eyes tighter. “well then, any last words i suppose?”

then the first tear dropped

“i’m sorry i couldn’t save you rui-chan.”

and the world went quiet. the figure stepped closer, his hand curling around your wrist. 

“open your eyes. please.”

slowly your eyes fluttered open and you were standing face to face with your thought to be dead best friend.

“y/n? oh god!” he took a step back, shaking. here you were, his best friend, his crush, possibly the love of his life, he thought you were dead. you crumpled in front of him and he rushed to your side. 

“i though you died!” you half yelled, “they found your parents i thought you died! how could-how could you leave me like that? you didn’t even say goodbye!”

rui thought you were going to be angrier, rui thought once you’d seen his face, what he had become, you would run away, run away and forget but instead--

you wrapped your arms around the boy, burying your face into his neck.

“you should’ve told me!”

and for the first time in years rui genuinely smiled. 

“i thought you’d hate me, i’m-i’m this now i-”

you wanted to tell him that it didn’t matter. that everyday since he had left there had been nothing on your mind except for him. he was still rui, there was no denying that. even if he felt unloved or fake, you would always be there for him.

“you’re still my best friend you idiot. so what? i still love you.”

the boy froze and you panicked. maybe this wasn’t the right time to tell your long lost best friend that you had been in love with him for years.

“you love me? for real?”

“uh. yeah.” you laughed, “for real.”

he looked down at you and you could see the tears in his eyes forming.

“like a-like a lover? you love me like that?”

gently you took his hands into your face, “i think ive been loving you like that.”

rui gripped your hand tight.

“rui--”

“are you okay? does it still hurt? oh god i shouldn’t have made you-”

you swooped in with a peck on his cheek.

“if it means being able to spend more time with you, then i absolutely regret nothing.”

he blushed, wordlessly pulling you into his chest and giving you a peck on the forehead. 

“i think it suits you.”

“oh yeah?” you hummed. he nodded shyly, stil admiring your new look. you pushed the two mats together and layed a blanket on top of them.

grinning, you patted the blanket.

“i’m back rui-chan.”

“i’m glad you’re here.”

six days.

you had denied yourself the ability to mourn for six days.

he wouldn’t want to see you cry, you keep telling yourself. he wouldn’t want to see you cry, especially not over him. especially when so many times before he had told you that he was okay with it. dying like that, he meant, fighting till his last breath was nothing but a press of air against his chest.

you would never know his struggle, as a civilian yourself you would never know what was rushing through his mind as he stood back up to fight over and over again. you only knew the worrying; the replacing old bandages and washing the blood out of his hair side of this mess. 

kyojuro wanted to see you smile, he always wanted to make you smile, he had already suffered through enough tribulation to last lifetimes. he had told you million times that he never wanted you to see the other side of it, the fighting, the twisted mindset of humans, the way each death was personal to him. you were what kept him grounded to the earth, even when it quaked with despair and death, your were the roots set so deeply even he didn’t know where it stopped. 

he never wanted you to see part where someone dies.

ironic as you stood in front of the headstone decorated with his name on it.

“my love i have to go.”

“kyojuro,” you pleaded, “stay, please. i’ll take the blame, just, i have a bad feeling, please don’t go.”

kyojuro made his way toward you, his face softening. he cradled your face in his hands as you leaned into his touch.

“too many people have already died my love. one person was enough, but now--”

you eyes were downcast, and he could feel the pang in chest when he saw your hands shaking. 

“after i’m done saving the world, i promise i'll stay home for as long as you want.” he added, hoping to get even a smile out of you. and it worked.

“hurry then.”

kyo grinned, “you won’t even have time to miss me.”

the ceremony had ended hours ago. the other hashira had come to pay their respects, leaving you with quiet eyes and lingering touches. kagaya had sent you a letter, promising that he would bless your lover for the afterlife.

yomi. the afterlife.

kyojuro promised that too.

“when i die,”

“kyo, please.”

the man infront of you smiled, lacing his fingers through your hair.

“don't be sad for too long okay?”

you groaned, pulling him closer to you, trying to feel every part of his body against yours. you wanted to memorize his touches, bask in the way the universe had decided you would fit so perfectly against him. but even then, even when the world was flowing with sakura leaves and fresh matcha,  there was the inkling of thought that one day you’d never be able to feel him again. it sent a chill to your fingers, the chance of him never coming home was higher now. but kyojuro knew you too well, lifting your fingers and pressing your palm to his beating heart.

“kyo, stop it.”

“i’ll meet you in the land of yomi. i promise.”

the tears being soaked up by the ground were loud. you could hear the way it fell off the grass leaves and onto the wet earth. maybe that was why you couldn’t hear the footsteps behind you, or the other set of tears being wiped by the damp air.

“[l/n] - sama.” someone choked.

quietly turning around you faltered at the sight of tanjiro sobbing.

“tanjiro. tanjiro it’s okay.”

“i’m sorry!” he shouted, wet drops soaking the collar of his uniform. “i was there and i couldn’t do anything. rengoku-san was the only one who could defeat the demon, i’m sorry i couldn’t fight, i’m sorry i couldn’t do anything right!”

immediately you stood, wrapping the boy in a warm embrace. his own tears mixing with yours on the lapels of your kimono. you let your hands run through his hair as he continued to cry, apologizing over and over.

“tanjiro. listen to me please.”

he took a step back, surprised at the look of perseverance on your face.

“none of this is your fault. none of it. you fight to learn, to get better. kyojuros death,” your throat died at the words, saying them made it real, “should only make you stronger.”

tanjiro crumpled to his knees.

“please don’t cry tanjiro.” you say, kneeling in front of him.

you smiled down at the young boy, “kyojuro would never forgive me if i let you cry over him you know.”

the boy nodded, peeling himself off the ground.

“please forgive me.” he said quietly. you wiped the stray tear falling down his face.

“you don’t even need to ask.”

you didn’t sleep.

no, “didn’t” made it seem like you had a choice. like you chose to see kyojuros face every time you closed your eyes. as if letting him go and walk into the arms of death so freely was something you chose to do.

well, you did, didn't you?

you shot up, tears already forming, sticking to your eyelashes until you had no choice but to rub them away. ugly sobs made their way up your throat and out of your mouth until you were almost disgusted at the noises you were making. you had to leave, you had to get out of here. the ceremony had been held at headquarters so you were staying in the guest room. or, the room you and kyojuro would share every time he brought you over.

you had to get out.

sprinting out of the room you found yourself running to the garden, at least the koi fish could keep you company and out of your own head.

“h-himejima-san.”

instead you were met with the broad back of the strongest demonslayer. himejima gave you a small smile, “could you not sleep?”

you nodded, “i didn’t mean to disturb you.”

the elder waved you off, “no, please sit.”

you took a seat on the bench beside him unable to focus on anything but the koi fish swimming in front of you.

“don’t blame yourself.”

you jumped at the words, clenching your hands around the edge of the bench.

“i let him go, you know.” you paused, letting the wind pass coat your shoulders, “i had a bad feeling and i let him go, i knew i shouldn’t have but i did.”

your words had turned into a soft whisper and when only the movement of water filled the air you panicked.

“apologies, himejima,” you started, “i-

“he took a vow.”

the words came unabashed, stoic and straightforward but with every literal and metaphorical meaning behind it.

it wasn’t your fault.

“rengoku made a choice that he will never regret. he saved hundreds of people, you may think you had something to do with his death but that is the farthest thing from the truth there is. so never blame yourself for this. there should be no guilt plaguing your conscience because if he had a second chance he wouldn’t have hesitated to get on the train, not for a second.”

you can't move for a solid minute. the words are harsh, and maybe they're not what you want to hear but what you need to hear. the words are cleansing, seeping into your soul and washing away the guilt that has knotted itself in your thoughts. your shoulders visibly relax and you can feel himejima’s heavy hand on your shoulder.

when you return to your room that night you sleep. and when you get back to your tiny house at the base of the mountain you sleep. it gets better, you notice. you can walk by the kitchen without seeing kyojuro attempting to make dinner. you can tend the garden without memories of him putting together stick bouquets in the winter when none of the flowers have bloomed together.

when the fighting is over, and you’re clutching senjuros hand waiting for tanjiro to wake up, you’re not sad that kyojuro can’t be there. tanjiros blade is decorated with kyojuros flame, and you’re comforted by the warmth.
