#mendmarch 9 SATED Here are two more arty unfinished projects that I guess I became SATED with. Sated? Bored? Restless? Found a new shiny object? Pivoted? Whatever you call it, they’ve been in the state of incompletion for way too long. The first is a weaving made from upcycled jeans, inspired by Frau Fiber. I want to wrap the wooden frame with more denim stripping and I have a pile ready to go. What is stopping me? The second I started in an @otiscollege extension workshop with @carrieburckle in 2018? 2017? (I don’t think I’ve touched it since except to use the foam core that I brought it home on). Anyhow, it’s a lot of squares of offloom weavings. The yarn is overdyed pink cotton warp ends from @deedsweaves that Carrie collected from @csulbcollegeofthearts This morning I attended a Zoom lecture with Diedrick via Otis, maybe that inspired me to give this project the light of day.
