A little bit of a rant here, but today we had a carving exam, and we were all like okay that is fine. One of us was supposed to choose which tooth we were going to carve, and we all agreed on the upper central incisor or the upper canine.
All good, right?
Well, when it was time for our dentition lab, the TAs looked us straight in the eye, and said that we were going to carve five teeth. Like, EXCUSE US? DID WE HEAR YOU RIGHT????
FIVE TEETH?????
IN TWO HOURS????
One dude even said it took him six days to carve the upper 1st pre molar.
Long story short, I only managed to finish three, and part of the fourth, and I missed up while making two of the teeth that I managed to finish.
And my back is in spain without the S.
DENTAL SPECIALTIES AS MY BOYFRIENDS (PART 1)
Oral Surgery is the BMOC who tells me he loves me, but won't jump puddles for me. He's the guy I would do anything and everything for, but most of the time, he's just mean. When things are good, they're REALLY good, but when they're not, they're not. Everybody thinks we're the golden couple, but sometimes, he's kind of mean. Periodontology is the sweet and soulful guy who catches me each time Surgery breaks my heart. He tells me I'm beautiful, he makes sure I have everything I need, he makes me smile.. but I can't see us outside the friendzone, and I don't even know why. Prosthodontics is that suitor who has been at it for two years, but won't give up. He keeps telling me that compatibility is a goal of a relationship, and that I should stop seeing it as a precondition. I just don't feel the connection.. Even if 1 out of 5 dentists do.
